Calvin was amazing to deal with right from day 1. He was coming from out of town to complete the project, so most of our communication was over email. He always responded in a very reasonable amount of time and provided excellent advice for my install. He arrived on time and was super friendly and helpful getting the AC unit up from the parkade. He was organized and thoughtful about keeping the site clean. He got right to work and I could tell he had a very high level of expertise. The install went great and he exceeded my expectations with his attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work. I would absolutely recommend using Calvin for your AC install!

WOW !! From the very first email to Homestar Hvac we were impressed with the knowledge, response time and guidance offered on our options. Calvin spent time at our first appointment making valuable and sensible suggestions after listening to our concerns and answering our many questions. He was able to put together a plan that would have us warm in winter and cool in summer and provided current and VERY valuable information regarding grants we would be eligible for. He was very thorough in his testing and evaluations etc prior to installation making sure his recommendations suited our project perfectly. He explained pricing options of different products and we felt confidant when making a decision. When installation day came Calvin and Ben arrived just before 7am and set about covering carpets and setting everything out in a super organized fashion and began with removal of our gas furnace etc. It was almost like poetry in motion . They worked straight through the day and into the evening, had arranged for the electrician to join at the correct point and by 7:30 pm Calvin was showing us our snazzy new thermostat and explaining in simple understandable terms how best to set it up and operate it. We had interviewed companies in our own town but no one compared on many levels to the team from Homestar HVAC . We would actually give 10 out of 5 stars if that was an option. Calvin takes care of the entire process, selecting the best heat pump for your home, scoping out the project, assessing the construction site, arranging for electricians, and helping you with warranty. He's extremely courteous, responsive and polite. I'd recommend Homestar to anyone!

So I did a bit of research before deciding on a Company to help us with our Furnace problems. These guys had great reviews and I thought I'd give them a try.....now I know why all the good reviews, they were Professional, knowledgeable, timely and they worked out the most affordable solution for us. 100% recommend Calvin and his crew!

Calvin and his team were awesome, and we're so happy to have chosen their company. We had our heat pump and water heater replaced from the original contractor installed units. The team made sure to keep everything clean and organized while working and the installation reflected that excellent work ethic.
