Why is the word “cheap” taboo among certified roofing professionals?
Simply put, cheap isn’t good our use of lifetime pipe boots is a perfect example of that. We could use the cheap ones and perhaps land an extra job or two per month but we’d also be assuring ourselves of a service call in the future to replace a failed pipe boot (No thanks 😉).
The ‘cheap’ guy is going to cut corners somewhere on your roof, that is a certainty…perhaps it’s in the use of inferior products, perhaps it’s underpaid and inexperienced installers, perhaps it’s not having adequate liability or workers comp insurance.
In allowing more to enter the conversation than price, you would likely be very pleasantly surprised at just how much value you will get in return from a certified roofing pro that’s solely interested in providing you with the best roof system for your investment.
The right price doesn’t mean the highest, nor does it mean expensive!
