In the beginning they were efficient and timely the job quality was first rate and we are super happy with the result. However after striking an issue with the wifi connection to the wall unit they became M.I.A. Promising a resolution but with no delivery. We had to contact and deal with the company that provided the monitor unit. Using their instructions and recommendations to attempt to resolve the issue. Given that HEG had a real time access to our system they lacked any form of after sale support. If you use this company and don't have any issues they are great. Just pray you don't have one because you may find limited practical assistance.

Have engaged HEG twice now for a replacement Heat Pump and a house Solar Inverter - very fast and efficient and their installers/electricians have been excellent - and this from myself who has been in the electrical/communications industry for 40 odd years and have seen a vast array of technicians etc.👍

I got 4 quotes for solar panels and chose HEG. From the initial sales rep meeting, to phone and online communication, up to the actual installation and after sales support; I found all the people at HEG to be professional and personable. The 8.9 kw system was easily installed in one day and the guys cleaned up afterwards. Very happy with the product and service

I have suffered 5 winters in my house, not realising there was NO insulation in the roof. Despite having the heat pump blasting I was freezing in winter, HEG have recently serviced my heat pump and installed roof and under floor insulation. Best money I've spent. They were great to deal with as well.

What an amazing transformation HEG made to our house. We bought a 1950's house as we loved the location it was in, but it was cold, damp and mouldy. I knew we needed some insulation and a heat pump, and my searching led me to HEG. I could see they knew what was needed to improve our house. We had them install roof and underfloor insulation, a heat pump, heat transfer system, and condensation control. Due to the terrible condition of our windows, we also had another company (Summit Windows) install quality double glazed windows. The difference is just amazing, with the whole house being now warm, comfortable and cosy. I wanted to reduce heating costs, but the temperature difference between inside the house and outside just astounds me (as these 2 photos taken on different spring days at 5.30am WITH NO HEATING ON show) - the house just stays warm!!!!!

I used HEG when I wanted to have a number of upgrades done in my home, but I was unsure about options. The advice I received was clear and easy to understand and all the contractors who subsequently carried out the work were prompt and courteous. A couple of minor outstanding issues after the work was completed were quickly dealt with. I’ll be dealing with this company again later this year to have a heat transfer system installed. Highly recommend.

Absolutely outstanding service! From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and highly knowledgeable. Kane came and had a look at my place and recommended some heat pumps and under floor insulation. He was really knowledgeable, warm and friendly and clearly knew his stuff. He took the time to explain everything really well. He also checked my existing ceiling isolation and solar and said there was nothing to do there. A few weeks later the guys came and installed the heat pumps and did a power board upgrade. The office had told me to allow 2 days from start to finish, but they were done in less than a day! They were super friendly and efficient and their work looked great. I've since had a random "install inspection" (from the regulator) and they said it was a good install. The heat pumps have been fantastic. My house is much warmer now. Plus I followed Kane's advice and charged my power tariff so my power bill is less as well! Overall my experience was great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend HEG.

I first had HEG service my heat pump, now I have an Air Circulation System and a Solar System installed, all with excellent service from quote through to installation and with great communication. The installers were fantastic, with quality work. Thanks everyone!

HEG were impressive from the first contact I had with them where I got advice on heating and insulation. The worker who installed my heat pump was excellent and the guys who installed my insulation were fast, efficient, courteous and tidy. Office staff were also helpful and the boss himself was also amazing.This is a very good Tasmanian company and I strongly recommend them.
