Our 2.5 year old son was identified at his preschool as potentially have some speech related issues. Sonia was a recommendation from a friend and we’ve been very happy with her support and the results we’ve seen from our son working with Jordan, one of Sonia’s educators. The comprehensive evaluation was helpful in determining a best approach for the sessions as well as creating goalposts for success. Highly recommend both Sonia and Jordan for anyone needing some extra help with their kids’ language development.

Sonia is absolutely wonderful! It is scary when you are faced with anything “abnormal” about your child and Sonia is so understanding and sweet, truly making you feel at ease and providing you with a great plan. I was also worried my daughter would think something was wrong with her, but instead she looked at it as an opportunity for a play date with a really fun teacher. All of the speech therapy we experienced was through play and we received detailed updates after each session. I would highly recommend Sonia to anyone!

Our son was speech-delayed due to the isolation from the pandemic. This held him back greatly when he started pre-school. We were lucky to have found Sonia, especially since she was able to do sessions at his school. Within just a month or two, we already started seeing tremendous progress. Thanks to Sonia, our son is now so much more confident in his speech. In the beginning, our son would get frustrated and close up when adults didn't understand him. Now, on the few occasions when his speech is slurred, he confidently slows down and enunciates a few times and doesn't shy away from correcting adults when they misunderstand him. On our way to school every morning, our son asks if Sonia is going to be there. He really looks forward to the two days a week she spends with him. Now, almost a year later, our son says his favorite teacher at school is Sonia. We're so grateful for Sonia!
