HK Shutters was recommended by my neighbour recently and decided to call Hong for the initial consultation. Hong was very customer focus and very thorough with explaining his products and addressing concerns I had. As for the installation, Hong and his team were on schedule and well organised during the installation, the whole process went smoothly without any issues on the day and with minimum mess! My overall experience with HK Shutters has been very positive and can highly recommend them. Thank you, HK Shutters team, and especially Hong for a job well done.

Stay away from HK Shutters if you’re looking for roller shutters. The product quality and service have been awful. We’ve had issues almost every second day, and it hasn’t even been a year since installation. That’s completely unacceptable for something that’s meant to last for years. On top of that, the electrical work is terrible. The shutters are causing power trips in parts of our house, which is both dangerous and infuriating. This isn’t just poor workmanship—it’s a serious safety and reliability issue. Dealing with Hong and their team has been just as bad: flaky, unresponsive, and irresponsible when it comes to fixing their own work. Getting anything resolved is a constant battle, with excuses instead of accountability. What should have been a straightforward home upgrade has turned into a daily headache. Save yourself the stress, time, and money—look elsewhere!

Hong was fantastic. Great communication, arrived on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything so clearly and his charge was extremely reasonable. We are very happy. Such a lovely man.

Hong was punctual, polite and fixed our roller shutter in less than 30 mins. He showed me the issue and replaced a few parts. The cost (call out and parts) were extremely reasonable. Couldn't be happier with his service. Thanks Hong and HK Shutters!

It's been a about a year since getting shutters installed at my property - 3 large wide shutters for the slide windows. I was excited to get shutters for these windows, but since installing these shutters, its been consistent issues pretty much everyday. I've been having to call Hong and his team to get my shutters inspected. Every time I use these shutters, the shutters crunch, making loud noises, and its damaging the slats and peeling the paint off. See attached photos. The service from Hong and the team is fantastic, every time I call, they answer and make time to get to the property and inspect the shutter, however the end product isn't as expected and not up to standard on what was promised. Its also time consuming, not only to myself, but Hong and team as well. If you are reading this review, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure to do your research and look at the quality of the shutters. Shutters are not cheap, we use our hard earned money, and we need to make sure the shutters are functional. Currently I'm working with Hong and team to get this rectified, I'm not sure how long this is going to take as its been close to a year already, but fingers crossed I can get this resolved soon....I can only hope. As I said, Hong and his team are fantastic, but end of the day, if you are not getting a quality product, it gets dissappointing, upsetting, and frustrating.

From the communication, time organise, quality and especially with an excellent pricing. Hong had installed shutters for 2 of our houses. He did a beautiful job, good workmanship. Two years after, we had a break in, lost all the remotes to the shutters. Hong was able to come and reprogramed new remotes for us at a low cost ( our insurance company couldn't get anyone to reprogram new remotes). Another 2 years after, one of the shutters wasn't working. Hong promptly travelled across town, fixed the issue, replaced panels due to wear and tear. Hong was super generous and didn't charge me labour - even though it was way out of warranty and he had travelled a far distance. If you want someone who is reliable and around years after. Hong is your guy!
