Since moving to Hell's Kitchen in October 2023, HK's Best Barbers has become a neighborhood staple for me. There is a real family vibe the moment you walk in. The whole staff is welcoming, professional, and clearly at the top of their game. You can tell they all take pride in the shop's reputation. Personally, I always book with Matt (you'll hear him before you see him). I have very particular hair that is notoriously difficult to cut, and Matt is only 1/2 people I trust to get it right every time. The other is Pablo, if you like options! His skin fades are flawless and he always goes the extra mile to make sure I leave looking sharp. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this is the spot. Matt is my guy, but the energy and talent across the entire shop are unmatched. If you want a barber who treats every cut like a piece of art, look no further.

Greatest barbershop in nyc, hands down. Every stylist is a true master and they really care. I’ve lived in the city for 16 years now, tried dozens of different barbershops at all different price ranges, and haven’t experienced another barbershop with greater attention to detail and skill as these master barbers at HK Best Barbers NYC. They’re all SO good here! Pablo and Lorenzo have been truly awesome and exceeded my expectations. So glad I found this place and can’t recommend them enough.

HK Best Barbers NYC is hands down the best barber shop in town. My kids get their haircuts here every time we visit New York, and the experience is consistently excellent. The shop is super clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the barbers are true professionals. Jay, Matt, and Ray are all outstanding—skilled, patient, and great with kids. It’s damn near impossible to find a barbershop in Manhattan where you can actually build a relationship, trust that the barbers genuinely care about their craft, and know you’ll get a consistently great cut every time—but HK Best Barbers NYC somehow manages all three. I don’t usually leave Google Reviews, but I found this place because of one, saying they were the only shop in Manhattan that could do truly exceptional fades. Turns out, that wasn’t an exaggeration. Whether it’s Bobby, Pablo, Carla, Lorenzo, or anyone else in the shop, you walk out with a crown of confidence every single time. I most recently sat with Matt, and I’ve got to say—it was on another level. The man has magic in his hands.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have crossed paths with Ray. I met him in Hoboken at a barbershop there and one day he was gone. I called the place and they were kind enough to give me his personal phone. I’ve followed him all the way here because the service is simply unmatched. Great guy, great skills with the razor and scissors. Truly a pleasure - 100% recommend this place and specially Ray.

Lorenzo is hands down a great barber in NYC. He pays incredible attention to detail and really takes his time to make sure every cut is perfect. Super friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. Every time I walk out of his chair I feel fresh and confident. If you want a clean fade, a sharp beard, or just someone who loves his craft, Lorenzo is your guy.

I decided to try this establishment after reading positive reviews, and having been given a haircut by Carla twice already, I am very impressed. The positive reviews are indeed accurate. The haircut turned out great both times. Anyone in need of a barber in the area, I highly recommend Carla, she did an excellent job, and I will be returning for sure.
