High tech yachts are a top notch company. Very professional on time with there estimate fair prices. Diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it just as quick. I’m in the boat industry and had many mechanics work on my yachts. Well who I thought were mechanics. This guy is amazing. I’m a 100 ton captain I’m on the water 6 days out of the week. He stops everything and gets me back on the water. Professionally and reasonably. Great guy. U won’t be disappointed. Captain Ron with Aquaholicsflorida After having him do work for me. Seemed very dependable and trust worthy. Did work. Paid him still having a problem I paid him to fix. Called him for over 2 months. Keeps promising to come back next week. Busy. They next week no show. No phone call. This went on for over 2 1/2 months. Then he blocked me. Not taking any phone calls or texts. Don’t trust him. Very independent and not trustworthy. Owner of High Tech Yachts , Emanoel Feitas De Silva bad news, stay away, had major repair, of remove and replace seal on V drive inboard mercruiser 8.1 this started in November of 2024, Insurance company paying repair, generator had water damage and electrical had to be R&R, gave Emanoel a check for new generator in January 14, 2025. Had Emanoel come out August 25, 2025 with a promise that he was bringing out new Westerbeke generator to install and finish small diagnosis alerts on port side engine. After a couple hours with diagnosis, he said he wanted to be honest and proceeded to tell me that he did not have the generator, and that he has been lying sinse January saying he had the generator at his house, and how quiet it runs, and sending me photos of the new generator back in March, he then said that Westerbeke generator has to ship a new one and it would be another 3 weeks. I called a local Westerbeke dealer in Ft Lauderdale and met at his location, and secured new generator in 7-10 days. Emanoel Freitas said he would wire the monies back to me for the new generator, now here we are Thursday August 28, 2025 and he is not returning phone calls or text. Wiring instructions were sent and waiting for his cooperation and funds. I don't understand how people can run a business like this, its like reputation means very little to them. He has lied , false promised too many times through this whole repair, from when he's coming out, but to make up a whole story that he has the generator, and then send pictures too me from his i phone, apparently from the dealer, I questioned this, "oh its in my garage." I'm sure, he has done this many times in the past, bragging to me that he buys storm damaged boats and resells on Facebook marketplace. Buyer BEWARE
