⭐☆☆☆☆
If I could give zero stars, I would — and I’d underline it in red ink.
I am 76 years old, and I’ve lived long enough to know when I’m being swindled. This company — let’s call it “Shifty Services Inc.” — had the gall to offer me a senior discount, then conveniently “forgot” to apply it when the bill came. When I pointed it out, the clerk blinked at me like I was speaking Martian and mumbled something about “system limitations.” System limitations, my foot.
To make matters worse, the quote they gave me over the phone was $89. When the job was done, the bill was $147. No explanation. No apology. Just a smug little smile and a swipe of the card reader. I may be old, but I’m not stupid — and I keep receipts.
And don’t think I didn’t notice the way they were ogling my daughter while pretending to explain the charges. She’s a grown woman, not bait for your sleazy upsell tactics. I came for a service, not a sideshow. I needed to get it off my chest before I explode. If you’re reading this and considering doing business with Shifty Services Inc., do yourself a favor: run the other way. And if you work there — shame on you. I hope your conscience keeps you up at night.
Sincerely,
Barbara Whitehead
(Still mad. Still waiting for my $58 back.)
