We had 2 trees (one very large oak next to the house) to take down in our front yard near the house. Mike and his crew at Heartwood couldn't have been a better experience. Explained everything on their first visit, gave a very reasonable quote which we accepted, had us on the schedule in short amount of time, finished up in one day, cleaned up the yard before they left. We recently had Heartwood Tree and Timber take down a very large black walnut in our front yard that had a rotten base. We were concerned it would fall and cause damage..They gave us a reasonable bid, showed up on time and removed it in a safe and efficient manner. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the site afterward with no damage.

I got a recommendation for Mike and Heartwood from my stepmom who had just had a great experience. Mike came out quickly after my initial contact to assess and give a quote. He was very knowledgeable, gave his recommendations of what needed to be trimmed. He could have gotten extra money by adding on a tree I was thinking of trimming, but he pointed out that it was very healthy and there were no immediate concerns. When his crew arrived, they were courteous and spent time looking everything over before just jumping in and getting started. Mike was there working as well. They were extremely professional and very careful to remove some very large trees without damaging surrounding structures or landscaping, and they did a fantastic job cleaning up and hauling away all the debris.
