Not a post I’d normally do here with a topless selfie but there is a point.

Every season has its times where eating becomes a bit of a thing. Summer is bbq’s and ice cream, winter has Christmas, spring has Easter and so on.
-
The reason it plan my clients food the way I do is to show them a life without junk food. To remove the control food has over them and give them back control over their food.
-
Junk/processed food manipulates our hormones, hormones impact how we feel, these feels impact our actions and the cycle continues.

To eat off plan food is to take full responsibility that you may feel some discomfort/bloat in your digestive track, you may feel sluggish, brain fog, performance may be down in training etc. taking ownership of it keeps you in power. Allowing it to take control means you’ll be back ordering food before you know what’s happened.

I’m not against junk food, certainly not against ice cream but I acknowledge the fact that it isn’t good for us. There is absolutely no requirement for it in our life. It’s just nice to eat every now and then and that’s the key. Every now and then.

I don’t do 80/20 (80% whole nutritious food and 20% junk), instead I do when there is no need to eat junk, don’t and when an occasion comes, knock yourself out IF YOU WANT TO.

So, the take home from this post, I look like this all year because I follow this rule and train hard. I am in control of my food, not the other way round.
