The look of a corner lot fence is especially important and sets the tone for your neighborhood.
If you are located on a corner. People can see your home from two sides instead of just one, which opens your privacy when it comes to either direction. There is only a close neighbor on one side, but that also means people might be able to peer in from the street.
If you live on a corner lot and are looking for a 4ft decorative fencing style. We recommend a shadow box with a trim and pressure treated cap. It is a visually pleasing option for your neighbors. The spacing we use in between each fence board is 3 ½ inches. The shadow box fencing style is meant to look nice on both sides of the fence. Adding a pressure treated cap on top is a good idea for decorative purposes and a good idea for a few other reasons 1. The fence boards will not tweak over time. 2. Good for animals such as squirrels to run along. 3. If you are talking with a neighbor for a lengthy period you have some where to place your drink or even lean on with your arms/hands.
Most planned communities and HOA’s keep the height restriction at 6ft. (Marion County allow height restrictions of 7ft) Lower fences (4ft or smaller) are the general rule for front yards. Corner lots fall under different setback rules.
