Hawaii Family Dental - Aiea

love everyone here. They are all so sweet & kind. I met Emily who did my X-rays, very sweet. I also met Sarah who cleaned my teeth. She made the entire process so chill & comfy for me (I hated going to the dentist as a young child so this was a big deal for me lol). & finally I met Dr. Win who is taking care of my teeth. She is the sweetest & always gave me reassurance which I appreciate so much. Thank you ladies for making my first trip back to the dentist in YEARS such a smooth experience for me. Can’t wait to continue on my journey here (:

My hygienist Sarah was amazing! She was so delightful and gentle. I just can't believe how pleasant of an experience I had during a cleaning. Never did I think I'd ever say those words. Kudos to Sarah, she's great!

Note: Located on second level. Open parking. I was greeted at the self check-in via video as I entered. The ladies at the front didn’t seem to be welcoming as they were in full conversation about other things. Ok, I’m here for teeth cleaning, ok! My appointment was made for 8:30am. I arrived at 8:15am per suggestion and sat in waiting room until about 8:40am. Once inside I was led to a room for questions, x-rays and guide to overall procedure by a dental hygienist (I believe) - she seemed to be in training with a more experienced employee. I was ok with it. I found myself waiting at different points in my exam. Finally SARAH a more experienced dental hygienist entered and explained to me if it was ok if she did my dental cleaning and fluoride since the Dentist was currently with another patient. She was friendly and confident so I fully embraced the idea. SARAH then led me to another room where she explained more in detail about the cleaning and fluoride I would be receiving. She made me feel comfortable and did everything with precision. She was very easy to talk to with her patience and upbeat attitude. After about an hour she explained I would be led to another room to go over recommendations with Dr. Hahn (who I was yet to see). After about 15 minutes Dr. Hahn entered and was very professional and explained her recommendations on my future visits. She explained the X-rays in detail and ultimately I felt good about my visit to Hawaii Family Dental even though I didn’t leave until almost 11am! Though my expected 1-hour visit turned into over 2-hours I didn’t mind because of professionalism of SARAH and Dr. Hahn! Shoutout to them for a great job! My only lukewarm take was of the employees at the reception area. Overall a pleasant visit!

Very easy with check-in on there computer device. The staff were pleasant, helpful and professional. I felt very comfortable and at ease having my dental cleaning with the hygienist Lorraine. Especially there comfortable chair. And parking stalls always available.

Appreciate my time at my appt with Dr Amber. She was very informative and concerned about my dental condition and informed me of what ithings i needed to avoid and keep doing. All in all very nice meeting with her and look forward to seeing her again. The staff was very kind and everything was done in a timely professional manner. Mahalo plenny, Family Dental!

I was very impressed and felt welcomed. DA Lexus is very professional and goes beyond the normal to extend the best possible care her professionalism and the kindness helped me to relax and understand what was needed. Crista and Kristine at the front desk explain my bill and to make sure that I am scheduled at the earliest possible time Hawaii Family Dental has is a team that truly works together to ensure their patient has the best possible care and always feels welcome I ensure that I am kept well informed throughout the process.They addressed all my hygiene health needs. My dentist ensured he addressed my concerns. and answered my questions to ensure that I understood my health plan.

Looks like we won’t be doing business with you guys the receptionist was unprofessional. Our appointment was at 11:30. We got there at 10:45. She was upset telling us we’re late. I felt discriminated against due to My zip code. She began to discourage us form using Hawaii Family Dental. I’m going to share this with the union to let the membership know not to use you Hawaii Dental Family.

Dr. Hahn did a great job explaining the procedure to me before she did it and as she was doing it. She was pleasant to interact with. All of the team at Hawaii Family Dental are professional and friendly. Thank you.

I want to recognize and appreciate the hygienist, Vanessa! Her personality, hospitality, and attention to detail are top tier. She’s such a genuine person. Her pride and passion for what she does really shine through. She’s so friendly and makes the whole experience twice as fun and comfortable. Highly recommend her! Overall, the entire HFD team is amazing. I always recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you Vanessa and HFD!

I had a great visit. Sara, my technician, was informative, highly knowledgeable, and excellent to work with. Her positive attitude and genuine passion for her work were evident and made the experience enjoyable. Dr. Nguyen was personable, knowledgeable, and very pleasant as well. I would definitely recommend their practice for any dental care needs.
