Water Heater Removal & Replacement – Puyallup, WA
This project began with a temporary removal of an existing water heater to allow subfloor repairs to be completed. The Harts team safely disconnected and capped all water and gas lines to ensure the area was ready for construction work. After the subfloor repair was finished, the homeowner opted not to reinstall the old unit and instead moved forward with a full replacement.
Our team returned to haul away the old water heater and to install a brand-new 40-gallon natural gas model supplied by Harts. Our technician Trevor completed the installation which included new flexible hot and cold water lines, a gas flex line with shutoff valve, a new T&P relief valve with discharge line, and earthquake strapping brought up to current code. All connections were leak- and pressure-tested, and the unit was fully tested for performance and safety.
