Would leave less stars if possible. Experience has been poor communication, poor workmanship, poor attitude. Worse real estate transaction ever and we have built several homes. Made to feel as if they are doing you a favor building a house. I have not experienced a quality build! It has been far from it. Update: We have not been able to move into house due to problems. Had a whole house inspection done. One significant issue is poor grade causing seepage into the basement, in addition to the unsealed HVAC unit leaking and causing additional moisture. There were major issues with HVAC as well. As of now, the HVAC company has sealed the unit and replaced a missing part that was affecting air pressure. They are supposed to return and replace a faulty thermostat. There is no check valve installed on the sump pump to prevent water from returning to the sump. All the issues are confirmed in the report. We should not be responsible to pay for mold remediation but we have been trying to clean up the mold so it does not continue to worsen. One of our soon to be neighbors came over to check on the terrible smell. She said within 15 min. her throat and eyes were burning and she had a terrible taste in her mouth. This is a construction fault. We should not be responsible to pay for correcting any issues the builder is responsible for. The inspection report was sent to the builder twice. He was called and left messages but as of yet, there has been no attempt to correct the issues. The issues found are due to negligence on the builder's part. Builder is responsible for the subs he hires. There was no follow-up on whether sub contractors were doing a proper job. As I noted before, poor workmanship, very poor communication, very poor attitude. I kept hearing "Harmony quality" but I have not seen it. We have heard threats because of our complaints. One directed to the inspector, another to our real estate agent and more than one directed to us personally. If the proper job was done, there would be no complaints. I can confidently say our realtor sells plenty of Fischer homes. When buyers have issues, they are taken care of within 3 to 7 days.
