This week, our team began a challenging roofing project in Windsor where the property was suffering from wet and dry rot. The flat roof had been incorrectly installed, resulting in water ingress and poorly fitted felt and membrane.
We carefully removed all damaged rafters and timber, replacing them with high-quality treated timber. We then installed a vapour-permeable membrane and treated battens to ensure lasting protection and structural integrity.
A new framework was constructed for the flat roof, which will be finished with a liquid-applied system. This modern solution forms a completely waterproof rubber barrier, protecting the property from future leaks and providing a durable, long-lasting finish.
In Wokingham, we returned to assist a previous customer with a leaking box valley gutter situated between two pitched roofs.
We discovered severe wet rot and woodworm infestations. All decayed timber was removed, treated for woodworm and replaced with high-quality materials. The area was reframed for a liquid-applied box valley gutter and we also carried out re-felting and batten work for the client to ensure complete protection.
