Meet our Hygienist, Meadow!
Meadow Hetland, RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist)
Biography
I grew up in a small town in the Midwest. While pursuing a degree in media productions, I worked as a cameraman filming commercials and the news for a local ABC affiliate. After getting married, I moved to the NE with my husband. Then after 3 years of cold, Atlantic winters, we decided to thaw out in South Florida. It was then that I had the privilege of beginning my work as a dental assistant.
I became fascinated with teeth and enjoyed helping people achieve a higher level of dental health. In 2012 I graduated from Edison State College Dental Hygiene program (now Florida South Western State College). My passion for dental hygiene must have shone through because I received the STAR Award for displaying enthusiasm, dedication, and compassion in the dental hygiene field. In 2014, I became certified to administer local anesthesia.
People care about who their health care providers are and how they are treated by them. I am proud to be a part of the Harbor Dental team where patients are treated like family!
