​A Perfect Stay in Shillong! ​We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Happy Homes. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and incredibly welcoming. ​The Hosting: A huge thank you to Samme, our host. Finding your way in a new city can sometimes be tricky, but Samme provided excellent directions and guided us perfectly to the property. Communication was top-notch, making us feel at ease before we even arrived. ​The Service: The real heart of this home is Shem, the caretaker. We cannot praise him enough! He is such a sweet, gentle soul who always had a genuine smile on his face. Whether it was helping us with a request or just checking in to see if we were comfortable, his hospitality truly elevated our stay. He made the place feel like a home away from home. ​The Space: The home itself is incredibly cosy and well-maintained. We particularly appreciated the kitchen facilities, which were well-equipped and made it very easy for us to whip up meals. Everything felt thoughtful and designed for guest comfort. ​If you’re looking for a peaceful, warm, and well-managed place to stay in Shillong, I cannot recommend Happy Homes enough. We’ll definitely be back!

The stay was so cozy and comfy, it has all the basic amenities. There is no curfew time and the host “Shem” was so sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend this place (Ps: I even forgot my card and he did all he could to find it.)

I stayed here for a night. Pleasant place, clean. Got an old retro feeling but the furniture was also old and water wasn’t always running. For the price point this is an easy 5 stars from me Shem, the caretaker was a great host.

We had a very pleasant stay at this homestay, and a big part of that was thanks to the caretaker, Shem. He was extremely polite, helpful, and always available whenever needed. Shem ensured everything was clean and well-maintained and was quick to assist with any requests. His warm and friendly nature truly made the stay comfortable and homely. Overall, great service and hospitality, I would definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Happy homes for 2 days, this is the best value for money homestay. It has all the facilities. Shem, the caretaker is amazingly great. He has a very jolly and happy nature and is very very helpful. , ☺️
