A nice place overall mostly if you have outing plans and stay only for the night. The ground floor apartment is very closed off no view and you can not open the windows for fresh air, the back veranda has a open drain the smells. Garbage right outside the back door by the kitchen. There was the smell of paint and so much noise during the day as there was work going on. This should have been informed.

Had a fantastic stay at this homestay in Shillong. The location is excellent—peaceful and conveniently situated near key attractions and local spots. The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, which made it feel like a true home away from home.
One of the highlights was the kitchen—spacious, modern, and fully equipped, making it a joy to cook and dine in.
