HANSIK Authentic Korean Restaurant is one of those hidden treasures you almost don’t want to share, tucked quietly on the 2nd floor, it delivers genuine Korean flavours that taste straight out of Korea. From the BBQ meats to the kimchi, everything is beautifully balanced, flavourful but never overwhelming, unlike some of those “K-pop fusion” places that think spice equals authenticity. We actually came for their kimchi omakase, only to find out it requires pre-reservation and isn’t available on Sunday evenings, a bit of a letdown. But honestly, the rest of the meal more than made up for it. The ambience is cozy, warm, and welcoming, perfect for family dinners. The lady boss is all smiles, patiently explaining dishes and ensuring every table feels looked after. In short: a hidden spot serving real Korean soul food, no gimmicks, just heart and flavour.

I had the 7 course Kimchi Omakase (Reservation is a MUST). Every dish, and progression is well thought out. The soft spoken proprietor explained the each dish and how to eat it. The flavour balance of each course was on point. Its was satiating, comforting, and Absolutely delicious. A wonderful experience ✨️ Worth braving the parking situation there to have a meal there again.

Absolutely love love love this Korean restaurant. Been there twice in 2 weeks. 😍 The first time I went alone and ordered the ginseng chicken soup. The Korean lady, I think she’s the boss, came over with a small plate of salt and recommended me to try dipping the chicken with some salt to get the authentic Korean taste. The restaurant was so busy yet she is still able to take notice of the small details from different customers. You can see her busy walking around making sure that everything is in order and that all customers are happy with their meal. The side dishes were delicious! Kimchi tasted fresh and flavour was well balanced. The second time I went in a group and we ordered their kimchi omakase with seafood pairing. It was a very interesting experience as we’ve never tried Korean style omakase. The same Korean lady served us and took time to explain every dish. We also found out she’s the main chef too who helped prepare our food. You can tell how much effort she put into preparing our meals which gives a very heartwarming experience. We enjoyed every dish and left feeling very satisfied. The other staffs were very attentive and helpful too! The food was delicious, ambience was comfortable and clean, price is reasonable, service excellent. Definitely would recommend and will come back again whenever we crave some good comforting Korean food.

Hansik Authentic Korean Restaurant truly offers an authentic Korean dining experience. The banchan buffet is fresh and varied, the steamed egg light and delicate, and the pancake is just right in crispness. The samgyetang was hearty, soothing, and full of flavor, while the jumokbap was a quick yet lovely kind of treat. Korean juice and Demi Soda drinks happily enhanced such a meal. Service was considerate, and portions were huge enough to justify the prices. Those craving real flavors in a homely atmosphere will surely want to visit this place.

Our experience was superb. We tried the 7 course omakase and it was really eye opening. Something worth trying. Service was also top notch. Would recommend for anyone that like Korean food. The only down side could be parking as it is limited.

Value lunch set available, I think good to try. However today we ordered ala carte grilled lamb & pork. Cozy environment

Love their banchan, they served many varities of banchan compare to other korea restaurant. Ordered BBQ set for 2pax but the portion can share up to 3 person.

We visited this Korean restaurant during the weekend lunch hour and ordered two lunch sets. The food was surprisingly delicious and very nutritious — you can tell the owner puts real care into the business. Every dish felt well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. Service was also impressive. Even though there weren’t many customers at the time, the staff made sure we were comfortable, even turning on the air-conditioning just for us. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and has a very relaxed, cozy atmosphere. It was pleasantly quiet during lunch, which makes it a great spot for a peaceful meal or even some family time on the weekend. A small but lovely detail: the mashed potatoes came with egg and corn — such a thoughtful touch. And to end the meal, we were served a small cup of honey lemon. Not too sweet, just perfectly refreshing. So far, no disappointments — we’ll definitely be back!

I’m in love with this Korean restaurant!! 😍Was watching korean drama and craving for good Korean food….this place really impressed me!! Ambience, taste, presentation, service — everything is a 💯🥹🤩👍! Came here for the 7-course kimchi omakase and it was a mindblowing, eye opening experience for me! Didn’t know kimchi could be made in so many different ways, and that it could taste SO GOOD when blended well with the right condiments and food pairings 🥰💕. Every dish is magnificently presented, and I love it that the taste is not too heavy, yet you can definitely taste the flavour and aroma very well. My favorite dishes would be the pancake with kimchi, and pork belly w kimchi! Pancake is so mochi like, soft and bouncy, warm and FRESH! 😋👍💕 you gotta try it to know what I mean 😆. The restaurant has a very zen-like atmosphere and you feel good eating here 😊. The owner lady is very kind and detailed with her explanation of each dish 🥰. Love this place and will def keep coming back!!! If only it wasn’t so far 🥹.
