We took delivery of our new hot tub on 2/13. The crew hooked it up and the breaker blew. They said they couldn't help but to call an electrician. It is 35 degrees out and now I have a brand new tub filled with water. I called some of the "big guys" who spend tons of money to advertise on Google. Each company said the same thing, we can schedule you 2-3 days out. I told each company the tub is already wired, something is not right. It should be a quick service call and still nothing.
I found Hanley Electric. Thank God I did!!! The lady who took my call at 2pm said let me double check but it shouldn't be an issue to come the SAME DAY. As I waited with baited breath, the lady called back in 10 minutes and said we are scheduled for the same day. She explained there will be an added emergency cost and I didn't care. I did not want a huge ice cube!!
John showed up between the scheduled times. It was late so I had a heater, some padded mats to lay on and some lights ready to go. John did his thing and our tub was running 45 minutes later!!! John took the time to look over all the connections and ensure there would be no other issues.
When finished John gave me an emergency bill and the cost was very reasonable. So much so I gave him an extra $50 for being prompt and treating our situation like it was the most important.
I encourage everyone to reach out to Hanley Electric before calling the big guys. This country was built on the backs of smaller companies who go unnoticed.
