Just because your electrical panel doesn’t have moving parts does NOT mean you shouldn’t have it inspected annually. We recommend you get a panel inspection every 3-5 years. This will help prevent a catastrophic failure as seen in the photo. Expansion and Contraction are constantly at work on your electrical system causing arcing which turns into resistance and finally heat. With these elements all at work you have a recipe for disaster! Preventative maintenance can save you from having to replace your electrical panel and possibly the meter socket.
