We’re prepping this window replacement after finding some nasty rot hiding in the old wood casing. I’ve got the rough opening dialed in at 23 ¾" x 45 ½" to make sure the new custom vinyl unit drops in perfectly with a tight seal. Taking these exact numbers now means no shimming headaches or air leaks once the new glass arrives.
