Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

I love ice cream…like a lot. I have it very often. Handels has some of the best homemade ice cream flavors in the area, they have a huge selection with multiple items to choose from ranging from sundaes, milkshakes, scoops and cones. They have tons of toppings and the flavors themselves are so unique not to mention the rotate them monthly! They do not disappoint. The seating is a little unfortunate as they don’t have any indoor seating so it’s not really my place to go in the winter too often, in the summer though they have a few outdoor tables! The parking is also a little difficult as this place can be very popular at certain times. Don’t let that stop you from trying it though. As an ice cream lover…I highly recommend.

Had a great experience on a last second stop. The worker was fantastic, she was able to identify any flavor that I asked about, which was quite impressive considering how many flavors they offer. You know right off the start that Handel's is legit when there is a line in the middle of winter. I went with the Graham Cracker which was fantastic. Chunks in every bite. Definitely a stop in you are in the area.

Absolutely the best ice cream around in my opinion. Every flavor I have ever got here has been amazing. Tonight I had what I believe are 2 of my favorite flavors so far. The spouse like a house and sticky fingers. 🤤😋! There are so many flavors to choose from its often hard to decide so make sure to take a peek at the menu before getting to the clerk. As good as this ice cream is theres usually a line that moves rapidly from swift working employees working together with the customers ready to order some of this deliciousness. Smalls come with like 3 scoops it seems and at a fair price too for the best around. Highly recommended whether for a quick cool off from the heat treat, or a last minute dessert. Stopped in today for a sweet treat on lunch and ad always more than satisfied with what I got. Extremely grateful for these heavenly made treats.

Hollllllllllly cow. That was SO good. Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. They need to hire more staff tho. The two people were kicking ass but the line was very long. Not their fault of course. But come on ownership!

First time trying this place. I asked for a banana split. The lady seemed a little unhappy at the fact I didn’t know I had to choose the flavors that came in the banana split. Tough day I guess. Overall, the ice-cream was good. Would probably come back.

Great ice cream spot, with both indoor and outdoor ordering. Lots of creative flavors and options. Clean atmosphere, tight organization, and kind employees. Wait was a little bit long. Having been here countless times, it has never missed. Would recommend.

It’s a great “neighborhood” ice cream joint. The reason I put 4 instead of five is only that all the seating is outdoors, and it was so hot and sunny the day my wife and I walked past on a daily walk. We stopped in for a small “one scoop” normal cake cone—oops! There went every calorie I allegedly used walking! :-) PS You could call it one scoop—I did not complain—but that was a good two scoops I received on the top of my cone. Cheers! The outside seating: check both sides! There was a table or two on the right—when we left we saw half a dozen MORE tables on the left! That’s the place to go! The tables are beautiful too! Blue colored I think, )I forget cause there’s red tables outside a different shop. Look to be regularly cleaned :-) 🧼 The ice cream is great, not chocolate & vanilla only, but things like coffee ice cream with chocolate chunks. I recommend wholeheartedly, just, if it’s pouring down rain you may take some to-go and eat at home—they have quarts to go in the fridge, and I saw lots of people buying it and running home (er—in a car! :-)

Oh hell yeah!! This place doesn't have tons of 5 star reviews and an outstanding rep with the locals for nothing! This ice cream is legit! The waffle cone I had with a scoop of Midnight Madness and a scoop of Buckeye may have just been my favorite damn cone in years!!! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and generous in proportion! I paid LESS for my 2 scoop waffle cone here than a medium sundae at a DQ (hey, I'm not proud - but any port in a storm when it comes to ice cream) and naturally this cone is a million times better! This place was JUMPIN' too! Non stop people walking, biking, and driving to get their ice cream on! Go get some!!!

I’m so happy 😁 I found Hansel’s , best ice cream I’ve had in years. I got the 4 pints and they were all delicious 🤤. I will never waste money on B+ J’s again. They got here super fast fast and the guy I spoke with was even nice enough to throw in a doggy cup for my pup ❣️❣️ great price. Delicious ice cream. Wonderful service. I am recommending this shop to all my friends. TY for making me love ice cream again.
