Stem cell vs Progenitor Cell
What is a stem cell? A stem cell is an undifferentiated cell of a multicellular organism which is capable of giving rise to indefinitely more cells of the same type, and from which certain other kinds of cell arise by differentiation. Stem c
Progenitor cells are descendants of stem cells that then further differentiate to create specialized cell types, like the one needed for hair growth.
Why are progenitor cells better than stem cells? First, there are many types of progenitor cells throughout the human body. Each progenitor cell is only capable of differentiating into cells that belong to the same tissue or organ. Some progenitor cells have one final target cell that they differentiate to, while others have the potential to terminate in more than one cell type.
That is why Regenera Activa is more potent and yields better results because the tissue we take is from the scalp and it is encoded with the targeted cell i.e., hair.
If the stem cells used aren’t from the patient, there’s a likelihood of exposure to transmissible diseases from the donor to the patient.
Progenitor cells harvested via Regenera Activa are yours, i.e., harvested from the patient, and not from a foreign donor, therefore the risk of infections or other complications is zero.
