Beard Transplant
This was another WAW system procedure. Essentially, a beard transplant is what it sounds like. Healthy, thick hair that has flourished elsewhere on your body is harvested and transplanted to the beard area, allowing it to grow. While reading the description of the procedure might not sound fun, the reality is that its’ virtually pain-free due to the minimal invasion and innovations in medicine.
The worst discomfort you may feel is a small pinch during anesthesia. After the surgery 90% of patients report zero pain.
A procedure usually takes about 5-7 hours and is an outpatient procedure.
Beard transplants don’t require very much recovery time. At H4L, Dr. Kelemen’s post-op protocol ensures quick healing with minimal scaring, usually 3-5 days. The post-op is strictly done by Dr. Kelemen who ensures everything is going well with your recovery.
How will my beard feel?
It acts as a normal beard. After the transplant fully heals, in 4-5 months your new beard will start growing and act just like normal hair. That’s the whole point!
