What does a perfect hair graft in hair transplant look like?
A hair graft implant is a type of cosmetic surgery in which the patient’s own hair is used to add hair to bald or thinning areas of the scalp. It can also be used to add hair to the beard and brows. Some people have hair removed from the back and sides of their head to use as donor hair. In other cases, the donor hairs come from their beard, chest, back, arms and even legs. This is called BHT (Body Hair Transplant) or body hair implant. The first picture represents a graft removed from the scalp i.e., back of the head, while the second picture is a body hair graft from the back of the patient. A hair transplant surgery is the only way to get hair back in places where it has gone bald or thinned out in a way that will last. The transplanted hairs will maintain its characteristic from the area was excised, but with time they will adapt to the new area that was transplanted to. Whether it’s on your head, eyebrows, legs, or arms, it doesn’t matter. This is the idea behind the hair implants. Men almost always choose FUE, which is why at H4L we perform FUE in more than 95% of all surgeries. FUE options are ARTAS robotic, WAW system and manual punch. Dr. Kelemen performs all the harvesting, site making and implantation. BHT can only be performed with the hand machine; in our clinic we use the world renowned WAW system that has not only rotating movements but also oscillation movement which facilitates the perfect excision
