While visiting my good friend Todd, my boys and I along with Todd had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Brad on a 1/2 day trip. Caught a number of sea trout and red drum. Great morning, great Captain and great memories. Will definitely be booking another trip when we are back in town. Thanks again Gunny B.

Just got back from an unforgettable day on the water with Capt. Brad, and I can confidently say it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. This was my first time catching a redfish, and thanks to Capt. Brad’s knowledge and patience, it won’t be my last. We also landed some beautiful speckled trout and battled with some strong bluefish that absolutely destroyed our lures it was nonstop action. Capt. Brad knows the North Carolina waters inside and out. He had us on the fish early, adjusted to changing conditions like a pro, and made sure everyone on board had a shot at a great catch. His gear was in great shape, the boat was spotless, and he kept the vibe light and fun the whole day. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in making sure his clients have an epic time. If you’re anywhere near the NC coast and thinking about a fishing charter, don’t waste time searching book with Capt. Brad. He delivered big fish, great laughs, and a trip we’ll be talking about for years. you won’t regret a trip out with him.

On January 11th I took my first guided duck hunt. From the start it was good. Brad met us at the dock. He was very personable and didn’t get our hopes up with unrealistic expectations. As we headed out to the location, he talked with us about it the hunting in the area and what was going to happen. Once we got to the location to hunt, Brad got everything set up from the decoys to the layout. Was that was complete we circled around and he cooked us a really good breakfast. Following breakfast he put us in the blind with plenty of time to get comfortable. Brad stayed nearby at a safe distance while we did our thing. Coming in to collect birds and adjust decoys. Overall great experience, and currently planning a couple trips with him next season.

Captain Brad (Gunny B) took us out for my son’s 10th birthday trip and it could not have been better. He was amazing—helpful, thoughtful, knowledgeable and so fun! On top of that he put us on some monster red fish, my son’s personal best fish ever! We’ve been out with guides in multiple states and he is truly one of the best we’ve experienced. We plan on going back to Gunny B any chance we can get!

Highly recommend Gunny B Outdoors! I’ve been fishing Eastern North Carolina for nearly 5 years and the day my family booked with Gunny B’s was one of the best I have had. He caters to any skill set and he is flexible in his fishing style and tactics to get you on fish (both quantity and quality). We took a good number of fish home, but definitely could have taken even more if we wanted to. I will definitely be booking another trip with Gunny B due to his competitive pricing and knowing his skills will get me on keeper size fish.

Capt. Gunny B. Took us out yesterday morning on a 4 hour trout catching trip! Yes I said trout catching, not fishing. I caught a 26 inch trout my PB and we ended up with a Neuse River grand slam baby! Striper, puppy drum, a few flat fish and 9 trout. He’s gear was some of the best I have ever fished with. That DF 300 Suzuki ran smooth! Thanks Gunns we will be back!

Captain Brad provides a wonderful duck hunting experience. Quality gear, perfect knowledge of the area and where birds are flying, and great service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch guided duck hunt.

Went fishing with Gunny B today and caught more fish then I ever expected. He will definitely put you some big fish. Just don't drop the amber jack out the boat like I did. Lol. I highly recommend Gunny B and look forward to another fishing trip in the future. Thank you!
