After following our last vet when he changed practices, and then having to leave abruptly while our fur baby was terribly sick due to the unprofessional, awful behavior of the office manager at his new, corporate owned practice, caused us to really check reviews this time! And boy did we! Gulfview Animal Hospital and Dr. Wishik stood out from all the practices in our area. What we gained by coming to see Dr. Wishik at Gulfview Animal Hospital has made it all worth it in the end! Lauren greeted us when we first arrived and had a room ready for us immediately! I was beyond impressed with Dr. Wishik immediately because she had already read our fur baby's extensive and complex medical history. She was very gentle, caring and concerned about our girl. Dr. Wishik was also very thorough in her exam of our fur baby. We are also working with Blue Pearl in Tampa. We are so grateful that Dr. Wishik is willing to work with them, and even came up with a treatment for our fur baby that had not been tried yet! It even appears to have started working already! Dr. Wishik and her team at Gulfview Animal Hospital deserve all the great reviews they have because they've earned them! We couldn't have found anyone better to care for our precious girl!❤️

Jenny does a great job grooming. The doctor is great. She saved my dogs life 4 years ago. I don’t live in Florida, but Iam extremely happy I’m close to this vet.

My dog did not have a current vet, she rapidly developed an infected anal gland. I called several other veterinary offices explaining our situation and was met with sorry we have no openings. I called Gulfview animal hospital and they had us in with in the hour. Getting my dog out of the car her sore burst and bled all over, I felt so bad of her and the mess we were making. The staff and Dr. were so kind and caring they had a plan for her to heal and everything back on track in a hour. I can not express how grateful we are and how friendly and welcoming this was place was, especially since I was panicking knowing this couldn't wait.

I can’t thank Gulfview Animal Hospital enough for the kindness and compassion they showed me during one of the hardest moments of my life when I had to say goodbye to my Piper. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel cared for and supported. They treated Piper with so much love and respect, and they took the time to walk me through every step so I never felt rushed or alone. It’s not easy to go through something like this, but the team at Gulfview made an unbearable experience a little more peaceful. I’ll always be grateful for the gentleness, empathy, and genuine care they gave to both Piper and me. It’s clear they truly love the animals they care for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be by our side.

I’m a very patient person. But when a tech wants to argue and tell me she knows Nashville when she’s never been was the last straw. 1. First visit I had a 3:00 pm appointment and got there and put in a room for 2 1/2 hours waiting I accepted it. And it wasn’t free like the ad say. I did not expect it to be free. The ad needs to be changed. Then after I spent over 1000.00 I did not get a call for the results. They said they had my number wrong? At first I believe her I don’t now she had my number. Then I called Thursday with an emergency and if they took me in without an appointment it would be an extra 200.00 never heard of that one. But I got a 3:00 appointment and by then with it being too late I had to go to the emergency hospital and be admitted. She had told me to come by in the morning they open at 8:30. I said okay. I got there at 8:30 and she said the doctor want be in till 9:30. Now why did she tell me to come back when they open? I said okay can I leave her here and come back to pick her up when the doctor gets here. Sure and I ask is that cost extra? Yes there is no free service and I told her wait that’s wrong. Now in Nashville the vets you can take your animal in and drop off to be seen. Don’t cost anything because the doctor makes more money letting tech vaccine dogs that are being dropped off. They claim they gave me free service by taking her blood pressure and not charging me. You take the blood pressure to fine out what’s wrong with them. The emergency vet new more about what was going on the the reg. Vet. But my baby want have to go through this again. I called Best Care Animal off of Trouble Creek where all my other dogs have been, and they want me back. It’s out of the way but they treat you so much better and your animals will get better check up and they will check the blood pressure during the exam. This weekend was over 2000.00 and I did not mind paying it. I want respect nothing more. Please avoid going to Gulfview Animal Center.

We started going to Gulfview Animal Hospital earlier this year when our dog Biggie was having trouble walking and couldn’t put weight on his front paw. From day one, they were kind, helpful, and really cared. They guided us to a rehab center and did laser therapy with him three times a week. Sadly, what he had wasn’t something that could be cured, but they truly helped make the last eight months of his life so much better. When the time came to say goodbye, Dr. Wishik, Lauren, and May were incredibly compassionate and understanding. They made the worst day of our lives a little more bearable, and we’ll always be thankful for that. Whenever we get a new puppy, we’ll definitely be bringing them to Gulfview. They’re the absolute best.

Dr. Jalan Wishik and her team are absolutely amazing. Dr. Wishik truly cares and is incredibly sincere when it comes to helping my dog, Bailey. They have consistently gone above and beyond to provide the best possible care for my senior dog. I've been bringing Bailey to Gulfview for over a year, and during our most recent urgent visit, the entire staff immediately jumped into action. They rushed Bailey to the back and stabilized him until I could get him to a specialist the next day. I’ve honestly never met a vet who cares as deeply as Dr. Wishik. She always takes the time to explain everything in detail and makes sure I understand all of Bailey’s needs. The staff consistently follows up, even when I send over medical records from another vet—they still call to check on Bailey afterward, which I really appreciate. I use another clinic for basic shots and routine things, but the level of care doesn’t come close to what we receive at Gulfview. If you're looking for a veterinarian who is truly compassionate and dedicated, Gulfview Animal Hospital in Port Richey is the place to go! I genuinely wish there were more vets like Dr. Wishik.

Dr. Wishik and her team are amazing! They have taken such great care of my first cat and have really cared for her as their own. They did everything they could to try and save her unfortunately she had to be put asleep. They were so caring, loving, and supportive during such a difficult time. Fast forward to a 10 months later we got two kitties and again they have taken such great care of them for all their vaccinations and visits. I trust them with all the animals I have. They are super honest and do not pressure you into anything and offer many solutions. Compared to other vets they are the cheapest. Highly recommend.

My Cat got caught under a recliner and got caught underneath when I put it down. I called Gulfview Animal Hospital and they said bring her in. We got the best care from Dr. Wishik and her Assistant. They took so good care of LuLu and lucky nothing severe was wrong. I would trust any pet with them. Very Friendly and concern. I am well pleased and Thank them all very much.

A couple month’s ago, my dog suddenly became very sick and wasn’t acting like himself at all. He was extremely low energy, and it was really scary to see him like that. Thankfully, this animal hospital didn’t hesitate to help us. They took us in right away, and from the moment we walked in, the entire staff was so kind and understanding. The vet techs and doctor were not only compassionate but also incredibly patient. My dog gets very anxious in closed spaces and hasn’t always had the best experiences at other clinics. But rather than turning us away, they sat down with us and came up with a plan to care for him. The doctor even called him a “spicy baby,” which was such a sweet and comforting moment. Thankfully, his labs came back okay and he’s doing much better now! We were so grateful for the care he received that we came back for his updated vaccines and have now made this our primary vet office. Thank you all for taking care of my big spicy boy (he’s a Belgian Shepherd—not always the easiest to handle!). You treated him with patience and love, and that means the world to us.
