Founder and Arborist, Greg Bates, has been in the trees for over 25 years. He preferred to take a more naturalist path with his training, spending a good part of his time learning about the strengths and weaknesses of the different kinds of trees and the best care of each. Greg continued his extensive training with ground work, climbing, and dismantling until he started Greg Bates Tree Service in 2000. We’ve had Greg Bates Tree service twice this fall. They were tough jobs in very old red oak trees near power lines and houses. He is well equipped, careful, removes all the limbs the same day and cleans up the area very well. He is also an excellent arborist, knowing the various conditions and diseases

Great experience! Greg and his team were out to my house within hours of when I first called them. They removed a very large limb that fell on top my house/chimney as well as trimmed other large limbs those posed a risk. This company is friendly, knowledgeable, and effective communicators! Highly recommend!
