I did extensive research and comparison shopping among solar companies. I'm completely satisfied and glad we went with Green Conception. Our project manager was Artin, who was always available if I had any questions or wanted a status update. They gave us a competitive quote. Once the crew arrived our installation was done in one day. Everyone was super professional and everything is working great just as expected. Overall we could not be happier and I strongly recommend them.

Installation was done professionally and quickly. Bonus points for painting the electrical conduits the same color as what was behind them (wall and roof). The system generates power as expected. Months later we had Green Conception install batteries to go along with the solar panels and it took them a long time to get them operational, as apparently the software had trouble dealing with the four batteries we had them install. But once they got it running, it was stable and has been stable for over a year.

Excellent quality and workmanship. Customer service is superb. A small suggestion - provide client with a Hard Copy (not digital) of the next steps after solar panels installed and before granted “Permission To Operate”.

There are a lot of reviews about Green Conception's solar installation but their roofing expertise is what saved me. I couldn't ignore the many shingles blown off my roof anymore (thank you Santa Ana winds) but didn't realize how difficult it would be to re-roof with existing solar panels that would need to be PROPERLY removed and reinstalled after the roof was done. The general contractors I contacted initially said they would have to "contract out" the solar panel removal and reinstallation because they didn't have anyone who knew how to do it right (and that, of course, would cost more and take longer) and even a couple of other solar companies I contacted didn't do roofing at all or didn't want to bother since I didn't want to change out the solar panel system. Roof replacement with an existing solar panel system is an ACTUAL service that Green Conception provides. No hemming and hawing about price (no surprise issues during the work luckily either so no price adjustments needed); no hard sell to upgrade the solar system (admittedly I probably should though). Very professional and knowledgeable (I had no idea roofing materials made a difference for solar). My only gripe is that, because the solar tax credit is expiring this year, they had a lot of projects going on and didn't always get back to me as quickly as I would have liked and it took a little longer than I hoped, but they had the forethought to warn me about that beforehand, so it was expected. All in all, very happy with them.
