Amazing facility, Dr Shedden is an excellent surgeon and listens to his patients. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Making an appointment is a easy, stress free process. I am greatful of the care I have received here.

Sharie (front desk) was so helpful. Dr. Knox is very helpful and professional. I appreciate his manor. He made me feel comfortable. Explained the diagnosis and gave clear guidance. The best part was suggestion of activity, over medication.

Dr Moran and his staff are so nice to deal with. My hip was really hurting from a fall and he gave me on injection, so hopefully this will help with the inflammation and pain! Highly recommend Dr Moran!

Houston Neurosurgery Center was great. Dr shedden was my surgeon. Only thing I disliked was st Luke’s lakeside hospital. Absolutely terrible.

Dr. Moran is a very personal and informative dr. I love that he is a conservative Dr. Also the nurses and front counter ladies are respectful, helpful and very pleasant. The place can not run smoothly without them.

I am a patient of two doctors at this office. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Durham for about ten years. He referred me to Dr. Shedden for neck problems when injections were not working anymore. I’ve had three surgeries performed by Dr. Shedden and he really knows what he is doing. He was DETERMINED to get it perfect (which is why we went back in) and I think he did. The office is run like a well oiled machine and I feel very taken care of by the entire staff! I will refer everyone that has pain or neck problems to Dr. Durham and Dr. Shedden. Thank you so much!

My daughter was diagnosed with a Craniopharyngioma and referred to this facility while she was in St. Luke's. Since we were new to this diagnosis, we just trusted that these were people that cared. Well, what a load of crap that was. These are the most unserious people that I have ever met in the healthcare industry. Firstly, when we initially went to meet with the doctor, there was no kind of care or awareness of privacy. The doctor sat at this desk and had myself and my daughter stand around him. What the heck happened to a private room and acting like you cared about what your patient was going through? And you can give up on calling them and actually getting through to anyone. No one answers the phone. And it is very clear that if they don't want to talk to you, you will go to voicemail, unless you call from a number they don't know. I usually don't do reviews because i know that sometimes businesses have bad days. But everyday is a bad day with this group. I mean a brain tumor is traumatic enough, then the lack of care on top of this is even worse. Thanks but no thanks to this group. I just want my daughter to get her medical records and peace out to this joke.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Sheddan and his staff. From day one of my consultation they were amazing and always there to answer any questions and put me at ease of having a craniotomy. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon . Dr . Sheddan came to visit in the hospital after the surgery and even before discharge to make sure things were ok. He was also very attentive when I had a concern on a weekend after surgery regarding my incision. He was always available even when it was a weekend which I am so grateful for . Definitely recommend Dr. Sheddan.

I saw Dr. Shedden in early February for left-side facial numbness and ear fullness on the same side. I went to him because he is regarded as experienced in treating trigeminal neuralgia. Dr. Shedden was dismissive of my symptoms, condescending about other providers that I respect, and his note about our visit was incorrect - clearly copied and pasted from some other patient and absolutely not accurate to the topics we discussed or my actual medical history. He belittled neurologists, saying he had "100 textbooks" more knowledge than they do. Dr. Shedden refused to order imaging. Instead, he referred me to a mediocre dentist and an ENT with subpar training and terrible reviews, telling me that they are the best in the area. I caught the error in my chart as I checked out. They were supposed to fix the note in my chart and email it to me, but his office staff is roughly as capable as he is and they never did. Two months later, I finally got into UTHealth Neurology downtown. A neurologist there took me seriously and ordered an MRI, and guess what? I have an acoustic neuroma. It is large enough that it would have been caught two months ago if Dr. Shedden had cared enough to help me. I have literally every symptom, but Peter Shedden, founder of the Greater Houston Neurosurgery Center, told me this was not due to an operable issue. I do actually need a neurosurgeon now, and it's laughable to think I would trust my health to Dr. Shedden. If you're in the same situation as me, look up Dr. Michael Sisti at Columbia Presbyterian for a masterclass in what competence, humility, and superior bedside manner look like, because you won't see these from Peter Shedden.

Dr Knox was very helpful and gave me the confidence that I was not suffering from early onset cognitive decline. I appreciate his conversation and guidance.
