Great Ocean Road Gin Kitchen

This place is going to be so popular over the Summer!! Book a table fast! We went with the kids (they are also dog friendly in the front deck area) and the kids were well looked after with mocktails and dumplings. The food was crazy good!! Asian themed - bao buns were the best I've ever had! This is Great Ocean Road Gin's new restaurant so definitely enjoy a cocktail or two from their ever expanding range of excellent gins. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. The best Char Kway Teow I've had. Better than what I had in Malaysia The staff are great, really friendly and even gave us some local knowledge about where to stay along the Great Ocean Road.

Absolutely worth a visit! The team were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their gin and the food recommendations were perfect. It was a midweek rainy day so we were able to sample the full menu in the tasting room which added to the fun!

Our server was absolutely wonderful and helpful. Highlight dishes for us were the Green Curry and Pork Belly - so very yum! The G&Ts were smooth and went well with our meal. Overall great experience!

The cocktails alone would be 5* as the menu is varied and the cocktails were delicious. There was nothing wrong with our food it just wasn’t brilliant. The green curry was a little bland, the bao a little soggy rather than pillowy. It’s a good place and clearly very popular but their drinks are better than their food.

Such a fantastic experience! Beautiful food and very warm service... and of course the drinks are super delicious ! We added on dessert and it was definitely worth it !

Went in expecting to just taste a gin or two and not knowing food was available. Ended up being there for two hours working our way through the incredible cocktail menu and the south East Asian food was an incredible lunch. Extremely friendly staff and great with allergies. Can’t recommend enough and will be back again!

Beautiful meal! Party of 6, with 2 vegans - we got the chef’s choice 5 course menu and every single dish was delicious! Also, the drinks! We will definitely be back to continue working our way through the cocktails! (One of the vegans was a bit sad that there was not a dairy free espresso martini option) The atmosphere was lovely and all the staff were brilliant!

Absolutely loved this place, came here on a quick visit to the area and received great service, our waiter was giving us a nice run down on where the gin ingredients are sourced from and allowed us to learn about the gins we were trying! Food was amazing, we shared some dumplings, bao buns, spring rolls, rice and Asian greens. Everything was delicious. Would definitely come back when I visit the area again

Absolutely loved our experience! The most amazing gins with beautiful pairings. We had the 5 course banquet which was plenty of food, amazing courses, very delicious and great service. We also made our way through the whole gin menu and every one of them was a fun surprise and super enjoyable. Not to mention we walked in on New Year’s Day and they made some space for us which we were very appreciative of. Overall was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while.
