I had stuck with my previous turf care company for nearly 15 years, but after COVID something changed. My lawn was looking worse each year and I was just told to water and mow. Last year, fed up with what I was seeing I called several companies for estimates and to ask questions. The people at GrassRoots were hands down the absolute best from the first call to today. They are responsive, my grass is looking great, and I'm thoroughly satisfied. I started seeing results after the first treatment (they suggested I do a topdressing as well which was great advice). I've now been using GrassRoots for about a year and have been very happy with the results.

These guys are doing a great job on our property. We have different lawn grass types and have struggled for years to get it right. They’re very thorough and consistent with treatments. Communication access is received immediately and followed up with promptly. Highly recommended.

Michael does an awesome job of making sure our yard is as mosquito free as possible. We have a bunch of woods behind us and a creek so I know it’s nearly impossible to get rid of them all but we rarely see any. And, we spend A LOT of time (like 6 days per week) outside on our covered patio and we enjoy it being bug free!

I fired my previous lawncare company from 2025 and, after much research, hired Grassroots Turf, based on their services, ratings, and pricing. So today was my first in-person encounter with them and my first lawn application of 2026. Jeff was GREAT! He took time to answer all my questions, provide expert advice, then provide the required lawn application. All m-around a great experience and we are off to great start! Highly disappointed in the yard. We have been using them for a year and a half now. For the most part they do okay. Nothing great. Nothing over the top. Nothing that makes much difference. I’ve been keeping them because it keeps our HOA off our backs. But in the last 6 months the technicians have come 3 times less than and hour before massive thunder storms. When I questioned them about it I was told that it was fine and that nothing was washed off the lawn. It’s hard to believe when it’s raining so hard water is washing down the yard to the road that none of the chemicals came off. Do the technicians not check the weather before the day starts? We will be cancelling our service and going with someone else.

I’ve been using GrassRoots Turf for about a year and have seen a real improvement in the quality of my fescue. I was leery when they started that I’d really see any improvement but I’m pleased to say that I’m seeing better color in the grass leaves, thicker grass, and a lot fewer weeds. Mitchell E. has been my service technician from the start and I’m very pleased with what he does. When I’ve had an opportunity to go out and talk with him, I found he was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable about the chemicals and fertilizers he was using, and the results I should expect.
