Halls’ essay was selected for the award because he provided a well-written personalized analysis of the subject focusing on care. He started his Essay with “How is it lawn care if we don’t care?” He referenced his own unsatisfactory customer experience with his first-ever home with a backyard.
While most other applicants discussed similar ways to become the Best Service Company Ever, James’ essay focused on the ‘care’ in lawn care. James will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the University of Phoenix.
