YA’LL!!! I have been wanting to visit this place but it’s soooo far from me. I was out and about and seen I was about 20 mins away. I stopped in and I am SO glad I did. Maddy greeted me when I first walked in. She was very sweet, and gave me a compliment on my dress. As I was looking around, Maddy was helping a customer and asked someone else to help, I told her what items I needed. She walked to the back and never came back. Oooh, but then came Angel… Angel got everything that I needed. He was awesome to assist me. He was helpful and worked very efficiently to get me in and out. I can’t wait to try the teas I bought. I promise you, they have SUCH A HUGE selection of teas. If you’re looking for any tea you can’t find anywhere else, I can almost guarantee you they have it here. And the customer service is literally top tier. I can’t wait to go back and grab more teas on my list. They are super reasonably priced. Please stop by, you won’t regret it. Promise you won’t.

The service and knowledge of the herbs that aide in helping our bodies heal is phenomenal. The employees are always polite and handle every customer with care. When I came for the first time everything I purchased turned my life around for the better. The phenomenal customer service and customer care is top tier. Health is wealth and knowledge is power. Keep up the excellent work.

We love this place! Maggie was so helpful she got everything on our list to help my friend fight brain cancer...we found this place during our health journey and they have so many natural herbal remedies to help being healthy.

I used to really love this place, but this last experience changed my mind. I have been here many times over several years, and thought of it as my go to shop for both everyday herbs and spices, as well as a great place to find bittering agents and other more obscure items. I used to to be come here and purchase however much of an item that I wanted, even stocking my mother's entire spice rack from this shop when she moved to Houston. It was a truly bulk food buying experience, which was both convient and affordable. Today when I went in, I was told for the first time that there was a minimum amount that I had to buy of each item, roughly the amount of a spice container that you would buy at the grocery store and costing the same if not more. This to me completely defeated the purpose of going there. I liked buying small quantities often to keep my pantry stocked with fresh items, now I feel as though I might as well just buy my spices at the grocery store. It's more convienient and costs the same. The MAIN benefit of Cranel spice market WAS the ability to buy the amount that I want. The most frustrating part was that when I said that I had never been required to buy a minimum before and I asked if it was a new policy, I was told it's always been the policy. Either this was the most horrendously enforced policy ever, considering it had never been brought over three ir four years of shopping there, or that was just a lie. I know the employees don't make the rules, and they were just trying to do their jobs, so I'm writing this review for the benefit of the owners. If this is a new policy, I beg you to go back to the old way. This was such a great resource, but it's just not affordable for everyday use if there is a minimum. If this truly has always been the policy, you need way better signage and to train your employees more. Unfortunately, I probably won't return.

I love this shop. It was one of my first stops when I moved to Houston and it always delivers. They have just about every spice you could think of plus teas, soaps, candles, etc. 10/10. Conveniently located across from the Houston Famers Market.

I absolutely love this gem 💎 of a shop. I was introduced to Granel in Jan. 2025, and I must have gone 10xs since then. I mainly ho there for their endless selection of teas/herbs. But I love the spices and you have got to try those black garlic cloves. Soooo good! Place is always in order, clean and they are friendly.

Granel has an excellent variety of spices and bulk products. Everything is fresh, well organized, and the prices are fair. Great place to find quality ingredients and shop exactly what you need.

Best tea and spice store I have ever been in!! Love love love all the choices that are available!! They have New a Mexico Hatch Chilli seasoning!! Don’t have to travel to my home state and stock up I can just drive up from the DFW area when visiting relatives in the area.

I love this herb store! Yes, huge selection, beautifully organized and the people there are very nice and helpful. Good quality herbs here. Definitely recommend!

FINAS HERBAS HEAVEN! What an adventure. I was headed to The Farmer’s Market on Airline when I made a beeline after seeing this spot across the street. So glad I went in first. It’s an absolute herbalist’s dream. Spices, herbs, teas, incense, jewelry, rose water, dehydrated fruits, and so much more await you in this beautiful decorated and nostalgic bodega. Not to mention specialty blended teas and dainty strainers and pot accessories. I loved every minute. It’s my new go-to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
