Grandson's Landscaping

Our condo building hired Grandson's last year to remove large tree's from over our parkade and help redesign and plant new for our courtyard area this spring. Josiah was great to deal with when dealing with the pricing and scheduling. Dustin was our guy on the ground who rebuilt our rock wall and planted all our new shrubs and tree's. He was a pleasure to deal with and showed up when he said he would. He also designed and put together our water feature which looks amazing. They have been great to deal with from beginning to end and including warranty on the plants.

Their work ethic is outstanding. The two male employees that took out and replaced a retaining wall on my property did a super job. Very approachable and polite men. For sure I would rehire them.

I had Grandsons Landscaping undertake some levelling of paving stone steps within my swimming pool area and Dustin undertook the repair work efficiently and the resulting repair work was very good because of Dustin's efforts.

I was very impressed with Grandson’s Landscaping, the guys were friendly, polite and very knowledgeable and they are hard workers. They did a great job for us and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

The guys did a bunch of heavy weeding and weed whacking around my our house. They did an awesome job and worked really hard. They got a ton done in a day. Can’t recommend enough!

On behalf of my senior mother, I reached out to several different companies within the Vernon area to do some hedge/bush trimming at my mother’s house, and Grandson's Landscaping was the most responsive; they got back to me right away! They were patient and answered the many questions my mom had. Now, when it came to the actual trimming and pruning, they were wonderful. My mom called me the second they completed the job, and she was over-the-moon with the service. In her own words: “They were so good! I couldn’t recommend them enough! I’m so happy—it looks so good! And they left everything so clean!” Not only was the work fantastic, but the gentleman from Grandson’s Landscaping that came out to do the work was so lovely and respectful towards my mom. I’m very happy with our experience and will hire them again!

I called Grandson's Landscaping as we were less satisfied by the company we last used. Josiah gave me an estimate after viewing our jungle and we booked a time. Caylen and crew came and did a fine job, removing dead cedars, pruning and starting the clean up. Busy guys! I reached out to follow up and schedule Fall extensive pruning and cleanup. It was all done well. They do quality work with care!

This team really loves their work! They also have a creative edge which I appreciated with the rockscaping. I totally recommend them.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but after the service I received, I had to….to start, I read their website and was moved by how they got started by learning from their grandfathers and the testimonials provided. So, I requested a quote from them, by both email and then phone, to weed whack my back yard and take away the clippings. I even provided photos of the yard so they had an idea of the work to be done. They informed me of the price and the day (Wednesday) they could come. That day came, they didn’t show. I called and was informed that they ONLY go to Armstrong on Thursdays and that because my place was a rental, they didn’t feel the need to contact me. I corrected them to inform them, I was the home owner and lived at the address (not sure why that would make a difference though)…Thursday comes, I get a phone call mid-day asking if it would be ok for them to come back the next Thursday to pick up the clippings as they hadn’t brought a trailer with them that day and didn’t have enough room in their truck for it. I agreed. Next Thursday comes, no show, again. I call the company, and was informed they had intended to show but didn’t, they apologized and then proceeded to say Armstrong was such a long way to travel for the work and that they would come the next Thursday to finish the job. The final Thursday comes, they finished their task, but it felt and looked like a rush job. There are still clippings on a good portion of my yard. 3 weeks to get a job done that really only took 3.5hrs. Final Thoughts: If they didn’t want to do the job, why not just say so? I would have found another company to do it. I feel like they were quite unprofessional in their communication with me and the over all job that was done. I will never use them again and I caution anyone who lives in Armstrong to do the same because “we are so far from Vernon”.

I really appreciated Josiah and his crew. They completely transformed about 100 feet of my front yard with large 3 to 6 inch rock. The job they did was top notch. His employees were respectful and hard working. The quote, and the job from beginning to end was well done.
