My husband and I will forever be grateful to Abby and Grand Rapids Cremation Services. When my father-in-law passed away suddenly, it was up to us to organize everything from our new home in Europe. Amidst the shock and grief, Abby was there for us from the start, making things as easy as possible. She kept in touch, was kind and sensitive, and handled every issue like it was no issue at all. When Abby wasn't available, our questions were answered and our calls were returned right away by other caring staff. We were never made to feel like a bother. Abby and Grand Rapids took amazing care of us and our father. We're so grateful and highly recommend them.

These people are heaven sent. I’m forever grateful for the way they cared for my sister after she passed. Grand Rapids Cremation services was wonderful to work with. They handled everything seamlessly with zero stress from transporting our family member from the hospital where they passed away, to their facility, all it took was one phone call, and everything was taken care of. They handled the cremation in a timely manner and were very kind and respectful when I went to pick up the remains. Their facility is clean, calm, and nice, and even had an area where you could hold a small ceremony if you wanted to. We will definitely use this company again, should the need arise. Highly recommend!

Super impressed by their care, compassion, and professionalism, After my father in law passed, Walli and Ty came to the house to move his body. They were so reverent and respectful, letting us know what they were going to do right before they did it, all with the precision of a military funeral. I was moved to tears. Tracey was invaluable with her loving care and knowledge. She helped us so much. Picking us his remains was made much less stressful for my mother in law with Tracey’s compassionate listening ear.

The staff were so welcoming and helped us process one of the hardest things for any family to have to do. They were consistently available to answer questions that came up after we started the process. They went truly above and beyond to make sure our needs as well as our loved were cared for. Michelle started the process and Abby finalized it. We were called from 3 different states (2 sisters and daughter of our loved one) knowing he wouldn't make it through the week. He passed very early on a Friday and Michelle saw us that same afternoon. Very accommodating, very compassionate and answered all our questions. We returned to our 3 different states on Sunday. Abby skillfully helped us navigate getting his remains released from the hospital into their capable hands. Words cannot describe our gratitude to those 2 individuals and the business who were the calm in our storm. My aunt passed away suddenly and I had no idea about any of the end of life requirements like death certificate or contacting social security, etc. I knew nothing and it was an emotional and stressful time. I called on a Saturday and was able to get connected with Abby who talked me thru the process which was basically they handle everything and took so much off my plate. She was compassionate, easy to talk to, understanding, and communicated clearly and consistently. She made the process easy. I met her when I picked up my aunt's ashes which happened quickly so no drawn out waiting period, and she genuinely cares about the people she serves. I highly recommend them.

Troy and the rest of the staff at Grand Rapids Cremation Services were so very kind and helpful. We had an "issue" caused by someone else and Troy went above and beyond in getting it resolved. At a difficult time, they were all the most compassionate and helpful of all the places that we dealt with. Highly recommend.
