GOVAN RENTAL SHPK

My experience with Govan was nothing short of amazing. Enri was super nice and flexible, he accommodated to multiple requests of mine, and I even got a great haircut at his shop too before I drove away. Oliver, the Green Westfalia, was the highlight of the trip. It was in a good shape, mechanically reliable, albeit, it doesn’t have the modern conform amenities one need, especially in winter, but aside from that, he was more of a companion rather just a ride. I would 1000% recommend Govan and will definitely be back soon.

Fabulous! The van we hired was lovely, drove well, was comfortable and contained everything we needed for a week travelling through Albania, a little sink, outdoor shower, comfy bed, bedding and towels. The best way to travel as we got to see so much. The guys were so helpful, totally went above and beyond, picked me up from the bus station and to pick up the van, and on the return journey collected it from the airport as we thought we might miss our flight! Would definitely recommend and already wondering how soon we can hire a van again!

I rented a van through Rent Motorhome Albania and made the deal directly with the owner, Gëzim. A day before my arrival in Tirana, he told me he was “going on vacation” and that his “friend” Enri would simply hand over the van. During the trip, I discovered that Gëzim had actually sold the van to Enri before my rental but never disclosed this. He misled me into believing I was renting directly from him. As for the van itself: It was in terrible condition: dashboard warnings for low oil, check engine, injection fault, and ABS unavailable. The A/C barely worked. Driving felt unsafe and stressful, with constant alarms and performance issues. The van was handed over unclean and poorly maintained. The engine struggled even on normal hills, and the back door had an electrical fault that made locking it a daily hassle. On the final day, driving back to Tirana, the van completely broke down. Enri’s response was unprofessional: he only called a tow truck, offered no apology, no replacement vehicle, and no support. We had to ride more than 4 hours back to Tirana in the tow truck. His only comment: “You rented the van, you didn’t buy it.” Any serious company would have apologized, provided assistance, and at least offered a partial refund. Instead, both Gëzim and Enri refused to take responsibility. ⚠️ Be warned: Renting from this company means risking your money, safety, and holiday. There are many trustworthy camper rentals in Albania — this is not one of them. Don’t make the same mistake I did. P.S. 1. Based on other negative reviews, I expect they will again try to blame the renter. This seems to be their standard way of avoiding responsibility. P.S. 2. I have attached screenshots showing the check engine and ABS warnings on the dashboard, the faulty back door, and even fluid dripping under the hood. Unfortunately, I do not have more photos

We had an amazing Trip through north Albania. The rent was easy and everything worked well. The car was good equipped and met our needs. Positive + He picked us up at our hotel near the airport and brought us at the end to Tirana. Very kind! + We could pay cash in Euro. + Comfortable Bed. + Many towels. + The car was clean. + Good communication on WhatsApp. Negative - We have booked a T4 without air-conditioning. During our trip it was very hot, but with open window it was okay.

Excellent customer service. We had a fantastic time, no issues with our van, it handled very well on all types of roads. We had everything we needed, and Enri went above and beyond to assist us with every need. Will use Govan next visit to Albania.

My friend and I rented the Oliver Van (The green Volkswagen Vintage one aha). It was a really great experience. Enri was very helpful and super connected in case we had any question or potential problems during our roadtrip, which makes all the difference :) We saw incredible landscapes and beaches, and for this we are grateful we found a trustful person that provided such a high service quality. We definitely recommend !!

We had an amazing experience traveling around Albania with Oliver, the VW Westfalia. He’s a classic beauty – comfortable, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for an unforgettable road trip. Enri was an outstanding host: super responsive, very attentive to anything we needed along the way, and always clear and friendly in his communication. It really made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I’ve done several campervan trips in different countries, and Albania is truly a hidden gem for vanlife. From majestic mountains to paradisiac beaches, with surprisingly good roads throughout the country, I highly recommend this campervan and Enri if you want a unique way to explore Albania!

We really enjoyed our trip in Peugeot Boxer. Before we arrived to Tirana, Enri gave us a lot of informations via WhatsApp , so we could easily pick up the car. We could rely on him every time during our trip. Very appreciate that. Thanks.

Enri is a very honest and kind person. He sorted out everything perfectly fine for our trip ! Incl. picking us at the airport and organising for our last day without the van in Tirana. We had the sprinter for 8 days. It was clean and reliable. We’ll recommand further without any hesitation. Thanks a lot for making our trip unforgettable!
