Some advising was needed in order to address a real estate issue and I was fortunate to speak with Mr. Hale about it. I appreciated his well mannered demeanor and thorough answers to my questions, none were left unanswered. At the end of the conversation all solutions were laid out and I knew exactly what to do. Last he clearly explained hourly rate and minimum retainer as well so I knew what to expect if I needed to retain him. Thanks for the clarity of answers, it really made things manageable!

I had a mixed experience with this law firm. Beth, the attorney, was absolutely amazing—professional, knowledgeable, and truly supportive throughout my case. I’m very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her. However, my experience with her paralegal, Rebecca, was very disappointing. She came across as quite rude, and during one visit when I came in to sign documents, I overheard her making negative and unprofessional comments about me. That was upsetting and made me feel uncomfortable. On a positive note, the front desk girl was wonderful and very kind. I was greeted very kindly and even offered something to drink, and even offered activities for my daughter to do. Overall, while Beth provides excellent legal support, the unprofessionalism from her paralegal would make me steer clear from Goosmann.

Ashley has been amazing to work with. When we started at Goosman we were a little worried we would get done what needed to be done. Ashley came on our team and took over and things started moving. She new exactly what she was doing. If we ever need a lawyer in the future she will be who we call. She will fight and win for you!

no stars given! Jeff Meyers was the worst public defender i have ever seen in my life. When was his turn to speak didn't even speak. didn't find out anything about the person he was representing. Clearly for a paycheck not justice. Do not recommend!!!

First off. If there was a zero star option, l would've chosen that. Transparency! Be transparent on what your fees are up front, and the retainer fee will be to move forward with the case. Don't reel people in, making them believe they have a case and you are willing to help. If you just lost your job, would you sit down and talk to someone for 350 bucks! To have them tell you we need another 5k to get started at the end. Now that I'm out of the money that I use to feed my family in this failing economy. I hope you all are so very proud of what you do. To pay someone that kind of money to talk about what they already know... my dog gives better advice, and it's free... You should be ashamed of yourselves. Be honest, be transparent, and have some respect. Run away and save your money.

I was looking for legal representation and inquired with this firm for a consultation with Kris Reed. We spoke and he said given the circumstances I had a promising case. He then Informed me to keep him updated on current happenings regarding the case. That was 5 months ago. I was told by email last week he would be leaving the law firm and suggested I ask another attorney to assist with my case. I contacted the main account but the phone was never answered. I finally received a call back today by Nancy Vollertsen who stated they did not have a letter of execution on my case and that Kris Reed never took on my case. I wasted almost half a year on a time sensitive matter to be told I essentially wasn't being seen anyways. Nancy then insisted on calling and emailing me to confirm they never received a letter for my case and that I was in fact the issue, thus confirming their poor communication skills.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with multiple attorneys at Goosmann Law Firm at different locations and would highly recommend them. I have found them to be knowledgeable, responsive, and attentive in getting the job done well. Having multiple attorneys with a diverse skillset across locations, they’re equipped to bring in the right person for the job – with that particular expertise. Having one to call to make – regardless of the need -- and not having to settle for a generalist was important to me and they’ve consistently executed well on that front. Great firm and wonderful people to work with!

I found that Beth was kind, patient, very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. And excellent lawyer. She has an excellent team. Rebecca was great. The whole team is awesome to work with. I am grateful to the Goosmann team for working with me and making my divorce easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a lawyer. Thank you so much Tamera Landry

I had an issue that required very quick movement to make sure they didn't end as a default judgement against me in the courts. I worked with Anna here in Sioux Falls, SD. She recognized the urgency immediately and went to work negotiating for me to help get the issue taken care of. Through her partnership with myself and the other party, Anna was able to help me save thousands of dollars that would've otherwise been lost to me. Anna kept me in the loop as to what was going on so I was never wondering. If I did have a question, she responded very quickly. All of this was at the beginning of the pandemic, meaning that there wasn't any face to face contact until the final business was taken care of, and I still felt like they were giving me their full attention. Besides all the professional stuff, I really enjoyed talking with Anna as she also has a great sense of humor that I wasn't expecting. I'm unable to speak about cost, as I have a legal plan which helped pay for mine, but based on my experience, I'd absolutely recommend Goodman Law Firm here in Sioux Falls, SD, and specifically Anna. Autumn was also extremely helpful in keeping me informed through-out the process!

Paid $300 plus tax for one hour consult with Emily Maurice. The day of the meeting she called me while driving because she was out of town, spoke over the phone for 15 minutes, and she even admitted no being able to review a document I emailed to her. Then she told me it would be another $1000 as a retainer if I wanted to proceed but since we only spoke for 15 minutes she was going to apply the $300 to the trust account and just charge for the 15 minutes. I decided not to proceed since I should be saving money during the COVID-19 crisis instead of spending. Well, she kept the $300. Just be careful and don't accept anything over the phone. I paid for an hour and she only gave 15 minutes of her time. Good job keeping the money of a nurse currently on unemployment!
