Goodwood General Construction (Henry Perez) is the ultimate professional, very personable & knowledgeable. I watched him work from my window as he did my Curb-Cut & noticed how meticulously he worked. I’m very pleased & recommend him & his company, they deserve the highest score #5!!!

Henry and his team did a fantastic job! Goodwood's quality of workmanship, timeliness, communication, cleanliness and attention to details was exceptional. Goodwood renovated our whole yard, front porch, redid our garage floor, expanded our driveway, removed a pine tree that was too close to the house and recommended for removal by a certified arborist due to potential foundation damage risk, resolved yard water drainage issue, installed new fencing, repointed the foundation, repaired the external accent wall and built a beautiful small accent wall in the private area of the yard. I recently hired Goodwood General Construction to install a new concrete slab in my backyard, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Henry and his team were professional, on time, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and kept everything clean and organized throughout the project. The slab came out perfectly—solid, level, and exactly how I envisioned it. It’s rare to find contractors who care this much about quality and customer satisfaction. Highly recommend!

Henry answered every call, responded to every text, and came by 3 different times to answer questions even before he was hired. The crew showed up when promised and promptly at 7:30am every morning. They replaced old cement stairs and removed and old driveway and replaced it with new beautiful stairs, paver walkway, paver aprons and border and new asphalt driveway. Highly recommend this company and have already asked them back to do more work.

Henry and his team were excellent to work. They solved a problem we had with flooding in our back yard by installing channel drains and dry well. They knew what they were doing, finished the job in a timely manner and did a great job restoring the yard afterwards. Henry was always available for questions and was even willing to stop by after the job was completed to show us how to maintain the channel drains. Henry constructed a 12' x 16' concrete patio in my back yard just as I requested. The construction and quality was outstanding. He left the job site neat and surrounding grade better than I had expected. His quote was reasonable and he completed the job on time as per my request.

It was an excellent experience working with Henry and Goodwood General Construction because of clear communication and delivery on expectations. We had our driveway in Stoneham expanded to a doublewide in October 2023, and I am remiss for not writing a review sooner, but now I can comment that the driveway has sailed through its first winter without notice. I found Goodwood by searching online and it was easy to call Henry and then set up a time to visit for a quote over text. We selected his quote for the job amongst competing offers because it was very competitive and it met or exceeding the recommendations for base and pavement thickness. Furthermore, Henry, the owner of the company, would be on site for the entirety of the job and has been in the business for over 20 years. Henry scheduled the work a few weeks out and took care of contacting Dig Safe before starting the job. He showed up with a digger and 2 assistants on Monday morning and they finished the project on Thursday. They tore up 2 old retaining walls and surrounding shrubbery, created new allan block retaining walls, laid the base and then paved the driveway with impressive grading. The pavement seems level and the slope is hard to notice without looking across the retaining walls, but it is also along two axis because the rain now drains diagonally out the driveway into the street. Lastly, Henry's team filled in the missing dirt from the shrubs and laid seeds that grew well in the fall - our other quotes specifically noted that I would be responsible for any landscaping that might be needed after the job. I look forward to hire Henry and Goodwood General Construction for our next home project.
