If they are difficult to operate, hard to lock book us in!
Having to force the handles up to turn your key to lock it, will in time break the lock and could end up being very costly, especially if it is evening or early morning and an emergency locksmith needs to be called out, out of hours.
The picture above is the internal mechanism from an old PVC door. This is over 20 years old. It became harder and harder to lock and unlock and finally it broke and the poor people inside were unable to get out of the front door.
This has now been replaced with a new up to date system and I have given them a 2 year warranty for peace of mind.
