We worked with Shem and Martin at Goldenstar last fall on our little Bungalow and had a wonderful experience. We completely re-did the bathroom and updated the surfaces in our kitchen. Goldenstar's team also built an entire built-in and custom made doors for existing built-ins. First and foremost - Goldenstar finished ON TIME. Which I think is a miracle from what I've heard from our peers. Communication was really great and everyone on the Goldenstar team was really nice to be around and friendly. I cannot recommend Shem, Martín, and their team enough. We trusted them with the renovation of a bathroom in our 111 year old craftsman home. Their care and craftsmanship was unmatched, and they were full of knowledgeable advice. Martín was able to reproduce the detail of our bathroom window's wooden frame to match all others in the house- it's little details like this that make a historic project so personal and special. They also provided us new copper plumbing, new electrical wiring, new hardwood floors in the hallway that match the original floors beautifully, and coordinated HVAC installation. With their help, our first home is now our dream home for years to come. They are responsive, honest, and kind- I can't wait to work with them again.

This is the ONLY contractor we will ever use! Shem and Martine were amazing to work with, on time, and professional. They brought my dream kitchen to life and I LOVE it! I could not be happier with the result. Their crew were delightful and courteous to have in our home, and cleaned up at the end of everyday. I heard about GSD from my mother (who is extremely particular) and had a wonderful experience using them for a master bathroom remodel. So my husband and I decided to hire them for our kitchen remodel back in the spring of 2021. This company is ran by family minded people. They offer 4 very important things. First, they are the kindest and most considerate people to work with. Second, they are honest, honest, honest! Third, they are RELIABLE! And last, their work is excellent and professional in every way. The money we paid to GSD was worth every cent and an investment we will always feel happy about. Do yourself a favor and hire them!!

Golden Star has completed a dozen roof replacements and several repairs at our townhome development. In each case they have worked well with the board, the city permit process, communicated well about schedules and progress, and done excellent work all around. As a multi-unit homeowners association, work of this kind can be a challenge. They’ve managed the various homeowner involvements very well with a high degree of owner satisfaction. I look forward to working with them again.

Shem, Martin, and their team were very helpful when we unfortunately had some water damage that needed to be repaired. They were very easy to work with, very responsive, always on time, and kept us updated every step of the way. Would definitely use them again for another project!
