Golden State Roofing Group Inc.

I hired Golden State Roofing Group for a full roof replacement and paid a $10,000 deposit. They did remove the existing roof, but never installed the new one, and then stopped communicating altogether. I have made several attempts to contact them through text, email, and phone calls. My house has been left exposed to the elements, creating a serious risk of damage. I’ve made multiple attempts to contact them with no response. At this point, the project appears abandoned, and no refund has been provided. This has been extremely stressful and costly, and I would strongly caution others to think twice before hiring this company.

Excellent work and even better customer service from the first to the last day! Everything was so simple and easy to arrange, they started quickly and were so efficient! The workers were also very kind, friendly, and considerate of my toddlers any time we came in/out! (As well as our kittens.) They did a tremendous job! Never thought I’d be complimented on a roof but our neighbors have gone out of their way to tell us how beautiful it is and what a great job Golden State Roofing did! Thanks GSR team!

My family’s home had part of the roof collapse due to one of the heavy storms and Golden State roofing was quick to replace it! They were there for us in a difficult time and assured us they could handle the work despite having so many other projects on their hands. They walked my parents through all the paperwork and were very reasonable considering we had just experienced a major loss. Highly recommend working with them for your roofing needs. They are the best in the county. Can’t imagine anyone having a bad experience and if so, probably the clients fault because this company sticks to protocol! God bless 🙏🏼

These guys flaked on us twice. Came and "measured" 4 or 5 months ago. Never called back with a quote like they said and didn't answer my calls. Fast forward to now. My wife made a second appointment to give them a second chance and they didn't show up. She called and asked if they were coming, and said oh yeah, on the way. They never showed, so she called again and they told her that they came and measured already and left. Impossible because they have to come inside to access the patio. She then was told that rhe guy that "measured" said it would be 2500 in labor for a day's work. We already have the materials. I didn't know that they charged 315 an hour for labor. The worst part us that these guys are contracted with our HOA so by posting this negative review, we'll likely have problems with HOA roof work. Just very unprofessional. I'm severely disappointed in the local craftsmans work ethic. If you're too busy or it's not worth your time, just say so we can find someone else that likes to do honest work.

I hired Golden State To repair my roof a few weeks ago such an amazing experience very professional and fast. Such am amazing experience would definitely recommend.

Excellent quality work removing our 30 yo roof and installing a new, Highlander roof by Malarkey. The crew adjusted their schedule to deal with the extreme heat. Highly recommend.
