I didn't mind that the smog cost a little more, it was close to home. I had to get another smog, had one done in November of last year. It passed with no problems. This guy failed me, told me to drive it 100 miles and go between 55 and 65. I drove it to Turlock and back. I took it back for a retest and it passed. He then handed me a bill for another $70.00. I refused to pay it and in turn he said he was keeping my car...as well as calling me some not so thoughtful names I didn't appreciate. I'm also disabled with severe nerve damage and after he kept yelling as me, my body started to shut down. When he then accused me of taking some sort of drugs. I was in distress and instead of helping me, he made it worse. I had a police officer come so that I could drive my car out of there. According to the DMV, your retest should be free. I'm all for small businesses, but trying to rip people off is a no go for me.
