Well, after reading the reviews on the spa and resort, I was hesitant to come here. Turns out my instinct was right. My wife and I used to come here when it was the white orchid years ago. It was well run, clean, and maintained.
Today we showed up for our massage. I immediately noticed that the landscaping is not maintained. Weeds growing everywhere, in flower beds, in cracks of cement, mold and generally has not seen a broom let alone pressure washing or daily hosing off. Very disappointing and just resembles typical disregard for making things hospitable.
So we arrived to locked doors and lights out. Wondering what is going and finally a young man meets us wondering around. He then tells me that he has bad news and that one of the LMTs called in sick and that one of us isn’t getting a massage and that we can reschedule later. We understand people get sick, but be Mindful that our massage was at 9:30AM and it might have been nice to get called sometime before the massage so we could decide about keeping the appointment.
So I am waiting alone in the little restaraunt alone, feeling awkward and disappointed.
Without being to mean or vicious about this place that used to be wonderful, I think it’s time for new management or ownership. Maybe the population is big enough to overlook the degradation of the business, but frankly, I won’t spend any more time or money here.
Make up your own mind if you come, but my wife and are not that discriminating as long as a place is clean. It’s more important that customer service in our minds. So many businesses nowadays allow their businesses to deteriorate hoping that being extra nice will carry the day.
Not so!
