What a dump.. no breakfast rooms need good cleaning. No staff one girl working. No fresh linens or towels. Outside needs total painting and landscaping. Don't go it's a hot mess. Friends from out of country stayed there. Felt terrible for them Paid in advance 2 wks stay! Hope they fight to get money back. This place makes a motel 6 look like the Ritz.

There was no staff on site whatsoever…like at all...during our stay. The grounds seemed unkept. Lots of potential here, but it almost seemed abandoned. Our bed sheets were changed and made, but there was a general dirtiness to the room. We talked with the only other guest there and they said the same. It seems crazy that this place is wide open and unlocked with no real staff there. Location is good, but this is no “resort”. Not a one star place but they should feel lucky to get my 3.

I have been to the hotel and spa several times over the years and I have always had a wonderful experience with the service. Sam is always offering the best customer service and the place and amenities are wonderful. This jewel offers all one needs including quiet, peaceful outside filled with nature, mineral pool, beautiful rooms and sauna. The cooking is quite amazing as well and one feels treated very well in all aspects. I highly recommend staying at this jewel.

We visited Golden Magnolia for a mini-moon after our wedding and it was an amazing spot. The owner had great recommendations in the area and the manager (and cook???) had us eating some amazing food all weekend. It was a very romantic getaway, and we would love to go back!

The GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE!!!! This place is a TRAGEDY, Please Read There is no one there….. the pictures ARE NOT what they seem, it’s very outdated compared to what you would expect. Because the entire place was EMPTY, including the SPA. We got to do whatever, we hand to honeymoon sweet, which should’ve included champagne but again NO ONE WAS THERE. I went get my champagne, MOLD was all over the food in the kitchen.. the breakfast? Discounted items from PUBLIX AND WIN DIXXIE. They served great value pancakes from WALMART. When we arrived originally there were parfaits there, they had sat ALL DAY. Well some lady came at 11 @ night and put that same ALL DAY BREAKFAST back in the fridge and served it the NEXT MORNING. This place is a motel 6 hotel in disguise. There is nothing that makes it worthy of the price. The whole building / place is falling apart. It’s truly, A MESS. Unless you want a laugh DONT BOOK HERE

Stayed 3 years ago the white orchid located at A1A at 11th Avenue in Flagler Beach. At that time, we rated as 5 out of 5 stars. This past weekend we stayed (30th anniversary) and I would say it would be generous to give a four star rating, which i take very seriously as a Google "Local Guide". We booked unknowingly that golden magnolia isn't the same as it was when it was white magnolia. The hot mineral pool, delicious fresh cooked, made to order breakfast 1st thing in the morning and bakery offerings, and the afternon social hour with light offerings in main house were no longer a thing. All the cozy homey furnishings are gone in main house That was a huge draw for us, for our 3 previous stays. And unfortunately the grounds were seriously in need of the landscaper and pressure washer, & some maintenance work. Our room, thoughs clean having most of the usual amenities, like mini shower gel, soap & body lotion, there was no television, bottled water in the room. We did enjoy using the private patio at the Famingo Room, especially at night when you can see all the stars on a clear night. The location cannot be beat. I'm rooting for the new management to bring it back to the 5 star place we once knew. Thank you for allowing us to make the best of it this weekend. We still had a nice time but can't help but to compare. Thank you.

Please do not book this. It is very dirty and rusty place. Mattress is very old and very uncomfortable to sleep. Also they use pool chlorine to wash the sheets and you will smell like a pool chlorine. The pools that they have do not go in they are very dirty and nasty. Breakfast was offered in price but not served in the morning. Do not purchase nothing at Hotel.com I don't recommend to anyone to book through the Hotel.com or to sleep in Golden( rust) Magnolia resort and spa is a joke. Location is perfect for bars hooping and if you are interested when you dronk this is place for you.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! My parents paid over $500 to stay here only for no one to work here and all the rooms have the keys in their doors for anyone to open and stay in. This is a fraud scheme. You will not get your money back. Something straight out of a movie as it is trashed and a dump. Staying in your car would be safer.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! We arrived on Saturday afternoon for our anniversary and there was no one in sight. There are no instructions as to where to check in. Could not find anyone around. After about 20 minutes there was a woman in an apron that we asked where to check in. She seemed unaware that anyone was checking in and said that she had to make a phone call because checking in isn't what she does there. After a few minutes she returned (we are still waiting outside) and told us that we can go into the dining room and wait. She did not know what room we booked. I told her and she again said for us to go to the dining room. We soon found out why. After a good bit a woman came out of the room I booked carrying her personal belongings down the stairs and put them near the door to the dining room before coming inside frazzled. We then watched this same woman go back into the room to what we assumed was to clean. The apron woman told us "ten minutes and it's all yours". An HOUR later we were told that the key was in the room and we could go up with a promise that chilled wine would be delivered to our room. (NEVER HAPPENED) Upon entering the room, we were shocked at what we saw. The floor is VERY stained, spots everywhere. The metal frame of the bed is covered in dust, fingerprints are clearly visible at the head of the bed with stains on the headboard. There is a chair at the desk that is also covered in multiple stains. There was one half roll of toilet paper, no tissue, half used lotion. We went back down to the dining area in hopes of finding some ice or water or the promised wine and all of the lights were off, although the door was left unlocked. Again, no staff in sight. The "mineral pool" was not warm and filthy, with clumps of something brown in the bottom of the pool (not leaves) and the main pool was also filthy. Neither of these pools have been cleaned in quite some time. The entire inn is in obvious disrepair. When going up or down the stairs your hands will be covered in paint from where it is flaking off the railings. There are no fresh flowers, no waters as listed in the description. The "chef inspired" breakfast is store bought pastries that were left out from the night before. (We saw them putting them out while sitting in the dining room the night before). While at breakfast we were told MULTIPLE times that they had a private VIP event starting at 11. For what they are charging, this whole experience was pitiful.
