The Golden Heart team took care of my mother in law during the last years of her life. My MIL had dementia and would not allow anyone to do the things she thought she should be able to do. Claudia started working with her, first going once a day to make sure she took her meds. Claudia was able to develop a relationship of trust by talking with her, preparing her coffee just the way my MIL liked it, then she would make her toast on her special bread, adding “just the right amount” of cream cheese and jam. My mother in law loved Claudia’s help and attention, she named her “my pill lady”, and accepted anything Claudia suggested without complaint or resistance, which did not happen with other caregivers. Claudia is easy to work with, she is caring, loving, and has the knowledge and experience to be able to provide excellent care to your loved ones.

The team at Golden Heart Home Care oversaw the daily homecare of my senior Mother through the end of her life. My mom had dementia and several competing health issues including osteoporosis, heart eurythmia, congestive heart failure and a separated shoulder that could not be repaired due to the osteoporosis condition, too name a few but not all. Claudia and team provided my special Mother the most beautiful care one could ask, treating and caring for my Mother as if she were their own Mother, and nothing short of that ! These are some of the most compassionate people at Golden Heart that you will ever find and meet, they are the salt of the earth. Beyond my Mother, Claudia and team have taken a scaled back care giving role for my senior Father for times when he is overwhelmed and needs assistance, they have done everything imaginable from bathing, pill management, cooking/cleaning means, housekeeping, driving/accompany to doctor appointments. If you are looking for a care giver in the Chicagoland/suburban area - these are the world class care givers you should engage and be having a conversation with.
