Going Greek

We usually really like this Greek restaurant and order from them often, which is why this experience was so disappointing. This time, the chicken gyros portions were much smaller than usual and definitely not as generous as we’re used to. The chipotle chicken gyros didn’t include nachos at all — which was a big letdown since that’s the main reason I ordered it 😒. The chicken wings weren’t as good as they normally are, and the chicken skewers boxes were half empty. We’ve had many great orders from here in the past, so we’re hoping this was just an off day, but this order really missed the mark. EDIT: After that the restaurant kindly offered us a £15 discount to make up for it. We went back last night to collect our food, and we’re really happy to say everything was back to the high standard we were used to. The portions were generous again, the food was delicious, and everything felt just like the great experiences we’d had there before. It really showed how much they care about their customers. A bad day can happen anywhere, but what matters is how it’s handled — and they handled it brilliantly. We really appreciate the gesture and the effort they made to make things right. Thank you! We’ll definitely keep ordering from here!

I went with my husband and two boys for their food and film night! First of all great idea such a lovely experience we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Kids eat free with every £15 spent so it was great value for money considering the whole experience wasn't just about the food. It was hosted in the downstairs area which as a side note is such a great space for private events and will definitely be keeping that in mind myself. The food was amazing but I knew it would be, going greek always deliver on flavour every single time no matter the restaurant location! If you didn't make it to the film and food night this time definitely consider the next as it was packed with big comfy bean bags and plenty of chairs, spaces for the adults to sit too at tables, it was great to meet and chat to others with kids and just overall a super cool vibe! We'll definitely do it again, thanks for having us guys and great effort!

We’re so disappointed with our experience at Going Greek, especially as we went on recommendation. The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was practically empty and only seemed busy with deliveries — dine-in customers should be prioritised. When our food came out, we mentioned that our chips were missing, yet they still never arrived. After we finished eating and she came to clear the plates, I asked to cancel the chips and she said, “Oh sorry, I forgot,” even though we had already reminded her. We were sitting directly in front of the tills the whole time, so it’s hard to understand how they were forgotten. The only good thing about the experience was the food — the service was very disappointing.

Honestly one of the best gyros I’ve had in London. The flavours are spot on, and the ingredients taste fresh. The oregano fries were also really nice. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I tried Greek food for the first time today, and let me tell you, it was so good! The food and service were on point. The bread was super soft and went perfectly with the sauces they provided. I had the crispy chicken souvlaki, and wow—it was amazing. The chips were cooked just right, and there was plenty of chicken in the wrap. Plus, the sauce they added? So tasty. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

We ordered online and it took one hour for food to come and yes look at what we ordered and what came. Six chicken gyros no sauce not the naked chicken gyro box. This is not normal whoever did this order. Thanks for your generosity dear worker but just wanted to eat dinner(our dinner) not whatever you felt like. One small mistake would be understanding but this!!!

We ordered delivery twice during our stay in London, and both times the food arrived earlier than expected and piping hot. The packaging was neat and eco-friendly, and the dishes were just as delicious as dining in. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The delivery driver was polite and double-checked our order before handing it over. Reliable service like this is hard to find — highly recommend!
