The team at the nail salon in The Strand Coolangatta is amazing super friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. The salon is clean, relaxing, and has a really nice atmosphere. My nails turned out perfect exactly how I wanted them! 💅✨ I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend if you’re in Coolangatta and want beautiful nails and great service

Very disappointed with this nail job from Gloss Nail Salon. I pointed out a tiny lump on the nail at the appointment itself. Instead of fixing it properly, the staff member just rubbed it with a nail buffer and said it was fixed. Within one week, the nail started to pop and peel, exactly where the lump was. This shows poor workmanship and lack of care. I expected a professional fix, not a temporary cover up. Not happy with the quality or the outcome, and I wouldn’t recommend this service.

Came in when it was very busy and was told to come back in 20 minutes. We did, but still ended up waiting another 30 minutes. There were three of us wanting our nails done, but instead of being done properly together, it was very scattered — one person soaking, another buffing, then long waits in between. It felt really unorganised. If you can’t fit a group in and do it properly, it’s better to just say so. One person’s nails were left rough and had to be asked to be fixed. When paying, I clearly heard a staff member say SNS was $55, but somehow it turned into $75 at the counter, which was uncomfortable and disappointing. The salon also didn’t feel very clean, and the left side when you walk in looks like a kids’ play area (seemingly for staff kids), which added to the messy feel of the place. Overall, very disappointing experience and not somewhere I’d return.

The pedicure I had here was extremely painful as the girl kept nicking my skin when removing nail polish. My toes are still hurting. I paid extra for deluxe manicure but there was nothing deluxe about it - same pedicure routine that is standard elsewhere. First attempt at colour was awful and had to be removed- i was informed it was old nail polish and was asked to pick another colour. I requested just the base colour from a French polish. I spoke to 4 staff but could not make them understand what i wanted. At this point I chose to leave but was charged $80 for a most disappointing experience.

Was great and highly recommended! They were all very nice and I’m very happy with my nails! They did an amazing job. I paid $85 but I got a $5 discount for paying cash! I got a light pink with silver chrome and it looks amazing!

Ive been here a few times now and its always good. Today I booked in for one of the last appointments of the day on a Sunday, despite this Natsumi provided a superb spa pedicure, 10/10.

They are very talented here ! I love the attention to detail, I walked away very happy and I love my new nails! Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Had my pedicure done here today and I absolutely love it! I didn’t catch the name of the lovely lady who did my service but I’ll definitely be back!☺️

UPDATE: I’ve now changed this to one star because they in fact lasted less than one day. I’ve tried this place a few times and each time my experience has been below par. My pedicure was nice, but I asked twice not to cut the skin around my toes and the lady proceeded to do it anyways. My manicure was awful, I doubt it’s going to last my holiday trip before it lifts. The young girl also drilled my nails to the point of feeling heat, I had to ask her to stop multiple times. When leaving, the surcharge sign says 0.8% but when I paid it came up 1.82%. When I asked about the difference they just said “that’s the machine”. Ok, but that’s not what your sign says. Also $110.00 for a pedicure and manicure with gel to leave really unhappy is just unaffordable. I won’t be going back. 3 bad experiences is enough.

I came in here last Friday 3rd October for a full set. Not my usual place but thought I would give it a try due to amazing reviews. 2 days ago Tuesday the 7th one just flopped off. Then last night Wednesday the 8th they were all loose and came off never EVER experienced this in any salon in not even a week of being on would of been better to get a $3 set from kmart. Then waste $70 and now I have no nails not even a week highly disappointed and will not be coming back and was considering telling friends about this place not anymore. Do something about your poor prouduct.
