Walked 2 miles to this location with a back injury to walk into an empty waiting area and 3 staff behind the desk. Two of the staffers went to the back and did not offer any help and told me to wait while the front desk girl was on the phone with a provider. I sat for a several minutes and no effort to check me in was made. I do not blame the receptionist for not being able to get to me right away, but what I did find a bit lazy was the two staffers ditching the lobby right when I walked in. I decided to try and get someone to help and to at least get me some paperwork to fill while she was on the phone and it was met with a lot of pushback and attitude. I suggested they show some effort in finding someone with a minute to at least hand me paperwork and after that no one showed. I waited some more and the girl finally got off the phone and when i mentioned my visit would be for a worker's comp, i was told they do not work with worker's comp. On top of that, they did not accept my insurance. Sure, that could be the case but that's not what I'm bothered with. It's the lack of urgency for a self proclaimed urgent care. I had to wait almost 15 minutes to find this out. If these are two simple questions that can help determine if operations can move further with a walk in would-be patient, the two staffers, I'm sure, can make an effort when their receptionist is obviously occupied. Little things like this actually help keep from getting a bad review. Help each other in your workplace, we will notice otherwise.
