Had a partial knee replacement under Mr Hopper and am extremely impressed with his professionalism and manner throughout. His explanations and expertise made me relaxed about the process and the surgery has been a complete success. I would not hesitate to recommend his services and have already done so to a couple of friends.

Really impressed and very happy with Mr Hopper. The options and then surgery were all clearly explained and I was reassured all the way. He responded in detail to my queries. Mr Hopper also managed to fit my op in early (at my request), which was a great help to me. I’m recovering well and the physio support has been first class. Overall an excellent experience on an ACL reconstruction. Thank you!

I had surgery from Mr Hopper. I would like to say the whole process, from the 1st consultation, was excellent. Mr (Prof) Hopper has an excellent manner, he listens and fully explains what has happened and what the options are. I cannot recommend him enough, in fact I’ve already referred two of my friends, who have both had procedures carried out and are also very happy with the results. As for my own procedure, full left Knee replacement, I’m totally over the moon, I’m a professional Karate instructor & international competitor, because of Mr Hopper & my physio Lewis (ESP Physiotherapy), I’m well on the road to recovery. Again I cannot recommend Mr Hopper highly enough. Photo is 6 weeks after surgery.

Professor Hopper and the medical team are just excellent, both at Ross Hall and Braehead. Nothing is too much trouble. Just a few weeks ago I had a very painful knee, now, after a half knee replacement, it's pain-free. Definately recommended.

In September 2024 I watched a virtual event that Professor Hopper presented on the subject of “How to manage knee pain”. I then met Professor Hopper in October 2024 to discuss various injection therapies which he had presented at the virtual event. I opted to have a hyaluronic acid and platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection. The injection process was very easy and was not painful. Following the injection I had to rest my knee for two days and a week later start physiotherapy. It has been four weeks since my injection and the results are amazing. There are two main areas of improvement evident since having the injection. Firstly the swelling in and around my knee has greatly reduced resulting in me having greater knee mobility. The second area of improvement is the pain level which reduced from severe to very mild. The higher level of mobility and reduced pain has now allowed me to go back to walking and enhanced activity levels. I would highly recommend the injection therapy which Professor Hooper provides.

The whole process went smoothly. All was explained pre surgery. The timeline of recovery went just as advised. I was on my feet walking unaided before I left the hospital. A great improvement from being unable to get around without crutches. Highly recommend Graeme Hopper and Glasgow knee surgery
